This is my first face mask from the brand Nature Republic. Face masks are essential for skin care. It is important to wear wash off or sleep or sheet masks at least 2-3 times a week for a more concentrated and effective absorption of nutrients by skin. Masks make skin softer, tighter and reduces appearance of pores. The mask in this review is certainly worth a try.

My Experience with Nature Republic Ginseng Real Nature Clay Mask:
This face mask comes in a 2.46 oz tub packaging with a twist cap. The tub is dark in color with a sticker that has writings in English and Korean. The product can be picked with fingers or a spatula or a brush. The consistency of the product is that of thick, clay paste. It is easy to apply and spread on face.
After thoroughly cleansing my face, I apply a thin layer of the mask on my face and spread it evenly on my face. Using a silicon spatula for this purpose is ideal since it causes minimum product wastage and helps spread an even layer on face. I let the mask sit for 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Upon application, this mask does not impart any unique sensation – no cooling or tingling. However, it does make skin smooth to touch after the mask is washed off. Since ginseng is known to refresh tired skin, the smooth feeling to skin is evident about its presence in the mask. Coconut is known for its moisturizing properties and is beneficial for dry skin types.
This mask has some tiny gritty particles, which are not abrasive, but I am not sure what they are because the full ingredients list is not disclosed in English in any of the websites. The smell of the mask is not very pleasant, but it does not bother me while it sits on my face. As I have mentioned previously, I tried to find the full ingredient list of this mask, but none of the sites have disclosed this information in English. The Korean sites provide detailed information about the product and its ingredients, but unfortunately only in Korean. Hence, all I know is that it contains Ginseng and Coconut which is good for skin hydration and moisturizing.
The mask does not dry out even after 15 minutes and retains its moisture. It is easy to wash off and immediately makes skin smooth and soft. I have not observed any extraordinary change in skin’s elasticity but did notice slight reduction in skin pores. They didn’t vanish completely but my skin did appear smoother. It is not a miraculous product but is definitely realistic.
Pros of Nature Republic Ginseng Real Nature Clay Mask:
- This mask comes in a tub type packaging and we get a good amount of product for the money paid. A small amount of product is enough to cover the entire face.
- This mask is easy to spread and is easy to massage to evenly distribute it into a thin layer.
- This face mask does not dry out even when allowed to sit on face for more than 15 minutes.
- It contains ginseng and coconut and makes skin smooth and hydrated.
- Does not dry out my skin, preps it for further layering of skincare products.
- Made my skin smoother and softer, makes appearance of pores less obvious.
Cons of Nature Republic Ginseng Real Nature Clay Mask:
- Ingredients list is not disclosed in English, apart from ginseng and coconut; I am not sure what else it contains.
- Has an unpleasant fragrance.
- Contains gritty particles but I am not sure what they are.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Nature Republic Ginseng Real Nature Clay Mask?
It is a good face mask and does an efficient job at making skin smooth and tightening of pores. It comes in a decent quantity for the price paid. I do recommend it to readers.
