Today, I am going to review my most recent purchase.  I don’t know why but I was very excited to see lip creams online and out of excitement, I ordered this. There were only 2 colors available, one was Nude Peach Fuzz and the other was Strawberry Jam.  Strawberry Jam was a very dark magenta color and I didn’t want a dark color. So, I ordered this Nude Peach Fuzz.

Let’s see what my experience was:

Product Description:

It’s not a lipstick, nor is it a gloss. It’s like nothing you have experienced before. Its liquid lipstick that goes on with full Xtreme color and intense shine.

Ingredients:

Ricinus Communes Seed oil, Polybutene, Pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, diisostearyl malate, polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, synthetic bees wax, silica dimethyl silylate, tocopheryl acetate, BHA, fragrance, mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide red, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow, D & C red no. 6.

Packaging:

This lip cream is packed in a slender, sturdy, transparent tube with a black screw cap. It’s good that the tube is transparent as it helps in color recogniziton.

Applicator:

The applicator is regular doe-foot type. It glides on smoothly on the lips, provides full coverage and picks up the right amount of the product. But, I personally feel that sometimes, it gets difficult to apply the lip cream evenly. It might be because its for the first time, I have applied anything other than lip glosses.

Color:

The color is exactly like the color seen in the tube. It is a light, peach tinged pink. The peach tone isn’t overbearing, so it doesn’t appear orange on the lips. The color is light, but if you love to wear peach-pinks, coral-pinks, you will like this color. When I applied it for the first time, I was a lot skeptical about it, because it seemed that this color had washed me out. My lips looked lighter than my face. I didn’t feel like applying it, but later I applied a very light coat of it because I didn’t want to waste it by not using it at all. But, I was shocked when my friends actually complemented this color. For some people, this color would work great; it might brighten their face instead of washing them out. It will work best on warm complexions with light to medium skin tones. It will pair up well with a nude lip liner and smokey eyes.

Texture:

The texture is very smooth. It doesn’t feel heavy at all on lips and is not at all sticky, but I do feel that it dries out lips later. It works well for me by applying lip balm beneath it. The consistency is neither runny nor very thick; in other words, it is appropriate and like a liquid lipstick.

Pigmentation:

It is very well pigmented. The applicator picks up the right amount of product and a single swipe is enough to give the desired color and provide full opaque coverage. It hides out pigmentation of lips. This lip cream has creamy and glossy finish to it.

Staying Power:

I love its staying power. It stays on easily on my lips for 4 hours with drinks and light meals in between.

Summing up:

It’s a very good product, like a liquid lipstick, with decent staying power and a nice creamy glossy finish to it. It’s worth trying.
