Oriflame Cherry Mocha Hand Cream Review

Oriflame Cherry & Mocha Scented Hand Cream

Approximately 141 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas. Can you believe this?

Every February across the country, chocolate baskets, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine.

Oriflame Cherry Mocha Scented Hand Cream

Oriflame has come with the latest Valetineโ€™s day limited edition :-> ๐Ÿ˜‰ collection! This collection is the Cherry & Mocha range which includes a Cherry and Mocha scented soap bar & Hand cream. I have got the hand cream myself.

Mocha is also used to describe a coffee bean with a chocolate-like taste. Smaller and rounder than most other varieties, these beans are derived from the coffee species Coffea Arabica, which is native to Ethiopia and Yemen. “Mocha coffee” can refer either to the coffee-with-chocolate drink, or simply to coffee brewed with mocha beans, which were originally cultivated in Yemen and exported through the port of Mocha.

Cherry has anti-inflammatory benefits. Cherry oil has excellent moisturization properties, is rich in vitamins A and E, and contains natural antioxidants.

Price: Rs.169 for 75 ml
My Experience: This cream comes in a pink colored tube. The color of the cream is light pink & the texture is neither too runny nor too thick, it gets easily absorbed within 1-2 minutes of massage!

The cream has a mild artificial mocha kind of fragrance which doesnโ€™t last for long hours. My hands are very dry & need lot of hydration; this cream keeps them hydrated only for a few hours. You feel the urge to keep reapplying after 2-3 hours, so this way you end up using a lot of cream throughout the day. The texture is not sticky, so after applying you could even hold a TV remote control & donโ€™t have to worry about staining it! This cream doesnโ€™t quench my dry skin!

Pros of the Oriflame cherry mocha hand cream

  • The texture of the cream is not greasy, gets easily absorbed.
  • Packaging is simple, has small pink hearts on it. Comes in a screw open lid tube
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Its travel-friendly, can be carried in a bag.

Cons of the Oriflame cherry mocha hand cream

  • Though it claims, it doesnโ€™t provide intense moisturising! Doesnโ€™t keep the skin hydrated for long hours.
  • Will not work for very dry skin especially during winters.
  • Quanity is very less when used for extreme dry skin!

Will I repurchase this? No! Doesnโ€™t provide intense hydration & nourishment.
Will I recommend this? NO if you need deep moisturising effect & YES if you just want to have a mild mocha fragranced cream & donโ€™t mind reapplying it every few hours!

  6. Hi Uzma, good review. :)) The pictures at the top are making me hungry  I love chocolate, mocha, coffee, cherry and I would love to have this handcream , even though I know it would do absolutely nothing for my dry hands. ๐Ÿ˜›

  7. Nice Review Uzma :).. speaking from my personal experience, the limited edition creams are never that g8t… for dry hands there is a separate set of creams available.. and my personal pick will be the Hand treatment mask.. I just love it :silly: :silly:

      1. Your most welcome Uzma.. I was so tempted on seeing it first but was lucky that I got to use and did not pick one for myself ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I was so tempted looking at the packaging.. SO much oriflame here these days m getting all tempted :spank: :spank: :spank:
even me will get one tube wala hand cream… I want tube now.. booo hoooo

  9. I saw this one in the month’s catalogue and it looked so tempting by the packaging and the ‘cherry- mocha’ description. Too bad it doesn’t provide enough moisturization. have you tried any other hand cream Uzma?
