Outfit of the Day: Little Black Dress and Gold Clutch
Hello Guys,
How’s everyone been? Ask me to be honest, and I will admit that I hate high heels. I mean, hang on! Before you all start hitting me with some, let me clarify! I do love them, of course, they make any outfit look 10 times better than it would look otherwise, and I also, absolutely adore the sight of my colourful rack of high-heels; yet truth be told, I loathe wearing them. They are a BIG TIME pain (in the a**) to wear!! 😉 But on second thoughts, you can’t help but wear them! Kuch paane ke liye kuch khona jo padta hai!! 😛
Enough of the gyaan. Moving onto the OOTD.
The previous weekend, I had to go to a party. I couldn’t show you the pictures then, but here you go! I managed to do a shoot today, in this fantastic weather! (Please excuse the hair, they were wet because of the continuous drizzling that we have enjoyed throughout the day today! :D)
A classic LBD is a must in every woman’s wardrobe. Why, you ask? Because, (A) It’s a classic – it’s never “out of fashion!” (B) It’s black – which is a classic again!; and being a tabula rasa can be styled in ways you can’t even count! (C) It’s a dress – and we all need them! (D) Oh! Forget it! Just go grab one, if you haven’t already! 😛
I chose to keep the look classic, and simple by adding gold accents. Golden heels (with a little trinket hanging at the ankle strap! Don’t you just love it?), golden clutch and golden earrings finished off the look. I did wear my watch at the party, which I skipped today because of the rain.
