Outfit of the Day: Yellow Bag and Matching Shoes

Outfit of the Day:  Yellow Bag and Matching Shoes

Hello Guys,

I totally believe that one need not necessarily spend a million bucks, to look like a million bucks. Sometimes, street finds can be such worth-it purchases; they could easily make their ways to the privileged first rows in the closet, putting your high-street purchases behind!

Outfit of the Day Yellow Bag and Matching Shoes

Take this look, for example. I’m rocking here, not one, but two budget purchases. The top and the shoes. Picked up randomly from one of the GK Street shops, this one has totally become my It-Top! Not sure, if you guys can make out, but it has a halter-like neck. The fabric is a very fine quality georgette. The cut and the fabric together make it an ease, a joy to slip into! The zillion colours take away the task of finding something to pair it with. This one can be worn with all my coloured denims. It is also very easy to play with the colours of accessories around this top. Gosh! It goes with all those bags and shoes and earrings and more!!

Yellow Shoes

Coming to the shoes; you will drop your jaws if I told you how much these beauties cost me! Mustard is a colour, too close to my heart and when the price tag is so mouth-watering, you just know you have scored a steal! ;D

Since I have bought these two, I have been finding excuses to just put them on! I’ve tried to pair these both with almost anything and everything I have in my closet. 😀

Floral Top

I was supposed to meet a friend of mine today, for an evening-out and some shopping. I kept it quite easy-peasy. I was in no mood to experiment; therefore, I matched my bag with my heels. I also skipped wearing any kind of jewellery; two reasons for that! First, I simply hate wearing jewellery while shopping. Second, it’s too hot today to bear the jewellery against my skin!

Yellow Bag

Also see, in one of the pictures, I have held the bag like a clutch. This is something I try every now and then. You could too; if you don’t have a matching clutch, simply hold your favourite cross-body bag/handbag/shoulder bag in a similar way, and you’re ready to rock! 😀
