I have always been a crazy hoarder of volumizing products because my hair is pretty much thin and limp from the scalp. My hair always needs that bounce to look all great and manageable. So, from my volume products stash, my pick for the day is a shampoo from Schwarzkopf. Let’s see whether it lived upto its claims or not!

Product Description:
A lightweight shampoo to gently cleanse and refresh fine hair. Provides long-lasting volume and fortification throughout the day. This shampoo gives a boost to dull and fine hair, and is enriched with the anti-oxidant power of Organic Cranberries, the stimulating properties of Organic Rosemary extract and Calcium, well known for ability to provide body and tensile strength. This formulation contains no artificial fragrance, and is free from paraffin and mineral oils, silicones, formaldehyde derivatives, PEG derivatives and parabens.
My Experience with Schwarzkopf Essensity Volume Shampoo:
Packaging:
The shampoo bottle comes in a bright leaf green colour and so do all the products from this range. I love how they created an entire range to give better results. The bottle has a press cap which is very convenient to work with. The hole is also a very tiny one which lets out the needed quantity of the product.
The bottle is pretty huge and heavy, so it won’t fit in the category of travel-friendly products. The price is a bit expensive but Schwarzkopf is a salon brand, so it is correctly priced.
Consistency and feel:
The shampoo is clear and it actually looks very gentle. The consistency is definitely runny like other shampoos. It is damn gentle like a baby shampoo on the hair. But a very good amount is needed to create some lather because a coin sized amount cleanses only the scalp. And then I have to squeeze out some more quantity to clean the hair shaft. It actually does not have any fragrance; it just has a very mild scent of some floral extracts.
Results:
It cleanses my scalp really well and helps me get rid of the residue from my hair. But it fails to work on too much build-up which is caused specially during winters. It leaves my hair very fresh and healthy-looking. It makes my hair soft, smooth and silky like any other average shampoo. Now coming to the main claim, it does impart a nice healthy volume to my hair and lifts up the roots very well. But it does not give any extraordinary volume.
If you want hair like a model on the magazine, then this is not the one for you. It also creates some body which was definitely needed in my hair. My hair does look fluffy and bouncier as compared to its original look.
Overall:
A good volumizing product; but if you find something at a cheaper cost, then skip this shampoo.

Cons of Schwarzkopf Essensity Volume Shampoo:
• Does not give any extraordinary volume
• A good quantity is needed to create lather
• Bottle is not travel-friendly
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Schwarzkopf Essensity Volume Shampoo?
If you are ready to splurge this much on a shampoo, then yes go ahead. But if you have used better volumizing products, then stick to them. I wouldn’t get it again as I liked the TIGI volume range better.

I love Schwarzkopf when it comes to hair-care products, so I am going to explore it more, especially the Got2B range.
