As promised, today I will be reviewing another new shade from Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain. Sephora recently launched 27 new shades of their cream lip stains and I picked up 9 of them. The shade that I will be reviewing today is #42 Rose Wood.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain – 42 Rose Wood:
Packaging: These Lip Stains have a very classic packaging with a see through tube and a black twist up cap. The shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the tube and the range name is printed on the tube. The Sephora brand name runs across the cap. The applicator of Sephora’s cream lip stain is a standard doe foot applicator.
Texture: The shade Rose Wood is a deep dark brown shade with red undertones. This shade reminds me of Jeffree Star Unicorn Blood Velour Liquid Lipstick. This type of dark vampy shades are perfect for this time of the year and would look stunning on all skin tones.
The texture of Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain is a mousse-y texture and goes on super easily and smoothly on the lips. These are highly pigmented and deliver full coverage in a single swipe.
It dries to a matte finish within 1 minute. It does not settle into fine lines of my lips and feels very comfortable throughout the day. These have a cake batter scent which fades away after application. When it comes to lasting power, these last all through the day and are transfer proof. I get full 9 to 10 hours and can survive heavy meals. These do fade a little when you eat oily food. You do need to prep your lips prior the application since these have a tendency to cling onto the dry patches on the lips.
