A n*de shadow palette is one of those few must-haves that I feel a girl must always have in her stash, just like a perfect red lipstick and a peach blush. A n*de eyeshadow palette is a thing that one can never go wrong with. I come across brown eyeshadows very often but what I don’t find that easily is subtle, neutral shades like a warm-toned pink, a shimmery brown or a peach for that matter. So, when I spotted this Sephora collection colorful 5 eyeshadow palette in the shade “Almost N*de,” I had to try it out for myself. Read on further to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Almost Nude Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palette:
Packaging: The thing about Sephora collection eyeshadow palettes is that they keep changing their packaging every year or so, so the packaging that I have my product in, is a round palette that has 5 shades of eye shadows, very aesthetically arranged in them. The palette is very sturdy and looks stylish and trendy too. It is a comparatively less-bulky eyeshadow palette and is in fact very travel friendly. It doesn’t however come with a mirror inside or neither does it have it’s own brush but as long as you have your blending brush, you are good to go.
Shades: This eyeshadow palette contains 5 everyday wear eye shadows. All these shades are very beautiful and wearable at the same time.
The first shade is an off white. This shade contains a good amount of glitter in it. I mostly use this shade as a highlight for my brow bone as well as for the purpose of inner corner highlighting.
The second shade is a subtle pink shade with shimmer. It contains minute shimmer in it and is a good color to apply all over the lid when you are in a hurry.
The third shade is a natural brown color. I’d say this shade is about three tones darker than the actual color of my eyelids. This color looks very pretty. It is the perfect shade to reach out for when I’m going for a no-makeup, makeup look.
The fourth shade is a peach color. I usually apply this shade in my crease as it acts like the perfect transition color for my eyeshadows and it also provides the much needed definition to my eyelids.
The fifth shade is the one that no eye makeup look is complete without. It is a matte black shade. This shade is a dark/ grey black kind of color and great for applying on the outer v of the eye as well as under the bottom lash line. I think this is the shade that adds the much needed glamour to this otherwise neutral eyeshadow palette. I can work around with this shade in so many different ways and this is definitely my favorite color from this palette.
Texture and Pigmentation: The texture of these eye shadows is brilliant. They are super smooth and don’t feel chalky at all. They blend like a dream and work well with just about any brush that you are using. There is almost no fallout with these eyeshadows. These eyeshadows turn out the best if you first prime your eyelids and apply a concealer underneath so as to bring out the true shade of these eyeshadows. The pigmentation is pretty good too. I won’t say that these eye shadows are insanely pigmented, but they are definitely pigmented enough that I don’t have any issues with it. The staying power is up to 6 hours on me with a makeup setting spray on top.
