My Experience with Yardley London English Daisy Moisturising Body Lotion:
I am a sucker for anything floral. The packaging of this lotion reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy range of products. I think daisy is a simple yet elegant flower. It looks great on the packaging. The packaging of this product is extremely catchy. It comes in a tube form and the tube is lemon yellow in colour.
The packaging has white daisies printed all over it. The cap or lid is flip kind and is convenient to use. It also opens and closes easily and securely. It fits well in the cosmetic pouch and I love taking it to vacations. It’s easy to squeeze the product out in a controlled way. Overall, the packaging looks more like a big hand cream tube.
I bought this product just for the appearance. It looks very bright and summery, after all. Just looking at it brightens up my mood. This lotion is white in colour and creamy in texture. Its consistency is not runny. It’s more like a hand cream consistency. It feels like a concentrated body lotion.
I apply more than required due to the consistency. I know less amount would be sufficient, but still I slather loads of it. The body lotion is light and hence gets easily absorbed by the skin. The skin does not feel greasy or oily after usage. My skin feels soft and very well moisturised. The body lotion has Q10 as an ingredient, and we all know it helps in collagen formation and anti- ageing.
It also has shea butter, grapeseed oil, almond oil, and vitamin E. All of these also add great benefits to the skin. I am so loving the fragrance of the product that I want to buy the body spray next time when I am in London. I am sure I will look for more Yardley products. The fragrance of the body lotion is very youthful and fresh. It’s perfect for summer and spring. I believe this product was inspired by Kate Middleton. Do you need more reasons to buy it? 😉
