Recently, I was amazed by the new product launches from Vega. First, the Vega Chic Lips Lip balms and now, Vega Cucumber Gel eye mask. I have always used cotton dipped in rose water or cucumber slices to soothe my tired eyes. When I saw this gel eye mask on the beauty counter, I grabbed it without a second thought. There are days when I feel too lazy to cut fresh cucumber slices. So, I wanted to try this gel eye mask for such days. Let’s see how it fared me.

My Experience with Vega Cucumber Eye Gel Mask:
Let me first start with the product packaging. Vega Cucumber eye gel mask comes in a transparent zip lock pack. There is a cardboard inside the pack which contains all the details of usage with product description.
Now, the actual product is two round green coloured gel patches. This looks like cucumber slices. The eye mask is individually big enough to cover the eyelids and under eye area. It is mentioned that it can be used both cold and warm. I have used it both the ways and definitely I liked it more when it is cool.
Same as the fresh cucumber slices, one have to lie down or tilt the head backwards with support in order to keep this mask on place. I apply this mask whenever my eyes feel tired after hours of burying my head into cell phone.
Whenever I remove the mask, my eyes feel very light and fresh and my eyes are relaxed. I also use this as cold mask when I go to bed, since it relaxes my eyes and I get sleep quickly. So, it gets full marks from me for relaxing my eyes.
This mask also claims to reduce puffy eyes. Thankfully, I don’t have the problem of puffy eyes, but looking at the cooling and relaxing feel it gives to my eyes, I am sure it will wonderfully reduce puffy eyes too.
The gel inside is green in colour which looks very cool and soothing. It fits easily, and the shape of the mask covers my eyes fully. The pouch, in which it comes, can be used to store it. In whole, I am in love with this eye gel mask. My only regret is, if this mask would have some headband attached to it, it would have been much easier to use.
