Vega has recently launched four new refreshing wet wipes and today, I am going to review the variant ‘Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Mint Oil’. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Vega Wet Wipes Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Mint Oil:
Vega Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Mint Oil Wet Wipes come in a nice small green colored plastic pouch with some nice print over it that indicates the variant. On the front, there is a usual plastic seal that can be open and resealed safely. It’s easy to pull out the wipe. The seal sticks well and quite strong in nature so it will stay for long. This is totally a travel-friendly packaging and one pack contains 10 wipes as well. But, these are yet not available in bigger size.
These wipes contain Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Mint Oil and all these three ingredients are super refreshing in nature. I am a big fan of these ingredients. Like that, it has beautiful refreshing yet pleasant fragrance; mostly, I can smell the mint as the other two have a very mild smell. I love such fresh energetic smell that uplifts my mood as well. Such fragrant is good to all.
Wipes are made of viscose fiber material and feel quite soft and gentle on skin. Size of the wipe is also quite good to cover my entire face in a single time. This material is neither too thick nor too thin so it feels good on the skin and doesn’t feel rough at all. These wipes are well saturated that never dries up quickly. So, I can take my time to clean my entire face.
Now, coming to its cleansing power, yes it works decently on this. It effectively cleans dirt and impurities from the skin and provides great relief to the skin. It can take off the excess oil without making the skin dry. It provides a nice hydration to skin that makes it soft and smooth. It is good as a normal facial cleansing wipe and provides a good matte effect to the skin. It leaves a nonsticky smooth texture as well.
But, it is not super effective to remove makeup from the face. It works very slowly and takes time to clear it off. It can nicely wipe off my base makeup like foundation, blush or highlighter. It can clean powdery makeup, like compact powder and eye shadows. It can clean glittery shadow as well. Even it is effective on normal creamy or matte lipstick those are not waterproof but it takes time and effort for waterproof makeup. I mostly wear waterproof liner and kajal so it is quite difficult to take them off only with this wipe. Even it takes time to clean water-resistant makeup. I need to rub multiple times to remove my waterproof makeup.
For waterproof mascaras, it can’t take them off, but I don’t think any wipes can remove waterproof mascaras. They always need oil base remover so I don’t mind it but I am not happy with its result for normal makeup like kajal and liner. It takes time for them too. It also can’t remove liquid matte lipstick as they are waterproof too. So, for that makeup, I need to rub a lot but this wipe is not that super gentle. Excessive rubbing might make the skin red so I always avoid that.
It is effective as a normal face cleansing wipe. After cleaning my face, it never makes it stretchy or dry. It provides a nice healthy refreshing touch to it. If you are traveling or need a wipe to clear sweat then this is a good option to go with. These are good for all skin types. It suits to my sensitive skin well and never broke me out.
Overall, I love this refreshing smell and it is an average wipe that works on normal base makeup and slightly on non-waterproof eye makeup. But, it takes time for water resistant makeup and can’t remove waterproof makeup. Yet, it is a pretty refreshing facial wipe that I love to use during a hot day and it instantly provides a great relief to my skin. These are available in four variants and except their smell, all work same. So, you can pick them according to your preference. After using all four, I love the smell of Green Tea and White Lily, also I love the new different smell of the Lemon and Mint.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Vega Wet Wipes Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Mint Oil?
If you want a normal facial cleansing wipe that provides good refreshment and matte finish then it is good but if you want it to clean makeup then it is not so effective. I always prefer to use an oil based remover to clean my makeup and then wipe off that oil with a facial wipe. So, this is my technique to use a wipe. For that, it works nice so I can repurchase it but only this wipe is not for makeup.
