My Experience with Watsons Lavender and Jojoba Scented Gel Body Scrub:

The scrub comes in a simple and easy squeeze tube. The bright purple tube has detailing on it in white fonts. It has a big flip top cap that shuts tightly, making the tube leak-proof but the packaging is quite bulky to carry around when you are traveling. The back of the tube bears some necessary product-related information.

This body scrub has a weird lavender scent. It is not too refreshing or pleasing for me. I personally did not enjoy the fragrance of this body scrub. It is not too strong, but it is not pleasant much. Thankfully, the fragrance does not linger for long and fades away in a few minutes.

The consistency of the body scrub is semi-thick and gel-like. It has a slippery gel formula that slips from the hand and sometimes leads to product wastage. The thick consistency makes it easy to work with.

The gel formula lathers more like a shower cream and makes exfoliation easier and smoother. It creates a decent amount of foam and prevents any kind of abrasion due to large exfoliating granules. It has big exfoliating beads, which can be abrasive on sensitive skin, but the creaminess of the body scrub counteracts the abrasiveness of the exfoliating particles. Hence, it is gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin. The exfoliating beads are less in number and I personally felt they have been sparsely scattered in the formulation. It would have been better if the quantity of the beads would be a little more. It glides effortlessly on the skin and gently exfoliates.

It helps to get rid of dead cells and removes flaky skin. And, ultimately my skin becomes soft and smooth to touch. It did not cause any irritation or allergies on my skin, but it is not effective in removing stubborn blackheads. The scrub requires tons of water to get washed off completely. The scrub is neither drying nor moisturizing. My skin stays normal and requires moisturization after shower as usual. Overall, this is a good body scrub from the brand Watsons.
