Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel Review

Price and Quantity: $4.50 for 200 ml
Product Description:
The sparkling freshness of citrus flowers at daybreak is captured in the soft, light lather of this shower gel. Enriched with organic Aloe Vera gel, its formula is ultra-gentle on your skin and leaves it delicately scented. The Plus : Very gentle on skin.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel:

The shower gel comes in a clear, transparent long bottle with a silver flip cap. The plastic bottle is made from recycled plastic and thus is environment-friendly. The bottle is not very hard but it takes a lot of effort to squeeze the shower gel, especially when it is about to get over. The bottle doesn’t come sealed and there is information on the back of the bottle. Considering its sleekness, it is also travel-friendly.

Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel Back

The flip cap is very tight, quite similar to the other body washes from the range. It can easily damage your nails. But, the bottle has a screw cap and this comes to the rescue. The tight cap makes the product spill-proof. The shower gel has a semi-thick consistency and is transparent to light yellow in colour. The smell, like the name suggests, is citrusy and very refreshing. However, it is very mild and pleasant.

Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel Claims

The shower gel lathers very well with or without a loofah. So a little product is more than enough. I have been using this gel mixed with water before application so that I do not end up using extra. Since I use the screw cap, I always end up dispensing extra product, and this shower gel has been severely drying my skin. I have been having dry, patchy skin even in this summer.

Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel Cap

The shower gel itself doesn’t have any moisturization properties and thus, it dries out the skin after a shower. A good moisturiser is a must post this shower gel. It does make the skin soft and supple. The citrusy freshness is the best part about this shower gel. It instantly lifts up the mood and wakes me up. It easily removes body odour and also controls it for most of the day.

Yves Rocher Citrus Flower Shower Gel Packaging

Since it contains aloe vera, I have been using this post beach-days and it provides a relief to the skin without irritating or causing redness to the skin. Thus, the product is also suitable for sensitive skin. I wouldn’t recommend this product for winters or for dry skin as it only worsens the case. The product is made from natural ingredients and is paraben free but it does contain ALS.
