Hello Beauties!! 😀
How are you all? How has your week been? Mine has been pretty relaxed because my internals are done! *happy dance* 😛 Now, I have a lot of time to watch movies, read reviews and do some shopping *hihi* Have any of you watched Queen? I want to watch and would love to know from you all if it’s worth watching :)) Alright, now about the product I am reviewing today – Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey. The other day I read a few Zoya Nail Lacquer reviews on IMBB and I just wanted to try them as soon as possible! So, I ordered this one online and here it is, sitting in a pretty cute bottle. I am sure you all know about Zoya, but for the ones who don’t, let me just give a quick introduction.
Zoya, originally a classical pianist in Russia, earned her Cosmetology license in 1979 when she and her husband immigrated to the United States. Through Zoya’s hard work, and a demand for quality and healthy, natural ingredients for her clients, it became evident that there was a need for the perfect products. Michael, an advanced chemist, developed and patented unique products such as anti-wrinkle treatments and shampoo and conditioning treatments for the salon and spa. He also created the first working fast drying topcoat and the longest wearing, toxin free natural nail polish, revolutionizing the nail industry. And then the rest is history! 😛 You know when I read this up, only Rati and Sanjeev were on my mind. 😀 Isn’t this story similar? 😀
Now, let’s see how this nail paint fared for me :))
Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey.
Rs. 450 for 15 ml.
Zoya Nail Polish in Tobey can be best described as very bright nearly-neon fuchsia-based candy pink creme. This fun shade is so bright, you can’t help but smile when looking at it. Formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate and camphor free formula.
About the shade:

Butyl Acetate, Etbyl Acetate Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sterlkonium Hectroite, Acrylates Copolymer, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer.
My Experience with Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey:
After I read such positive reviews on IMBB about Zoya nail lacquers, I immediately browsed for them online and ordered these! *happy dance* And me being a sucker for everything pink, I had to get this shade called Tobey!! And how I lovvvve it!! ♥ ♥ Now about the packaging. Since I ordered them online, I did not receive them with the nail paint box *cry* , it came neatly bubble wrapped in the delivery box. Zoya has standard packaging for all their nail paints. This also comes in a see-through glass bottle with a round shaped cap. It is quite handy, easy to apply and hassle free. The size of the brush is perfect and the polish goes on smoothly and evenly over the nails. Now about the shade! *happy dance* This is such a hot candy pink shade!! It is cool toned and has a very creamy finish. I absolutely love the glossy finish it gives even without a top coat 😀 In the pictures below, I haven’t applied any top coat. 😀 It contains no shimmer or glitter in it – a plus for people who don’t like shimmer on their nails. The intensity of this shade is quite good. With a single coat, it gives a pretty light candy pink shade and with two coats, it gives exactly the color as seen inside the bottle. 😀
I have applied two coats in the pictures below.
This is the kind of shade which can be worn on any occasion. Be it college, work, occasions, party – absolutely anywhere!! It just brightens up my mood instantly and this shade SCREAMS summer!! *happy dance* One plus is also the “free from harmful ingredients” claim. Now, about the staying power. With a good base and top coat, on my hand, it stays up to a week with minimal chipping. On my feet, they stay up to 2 weeks without chipping. One minus can be the price for some, but for such high-quality nail paints, I wouldn’t mind paying at all 😛 It’s better to have one good nail paint of best quality than 100 nail paints of cheap quality, right? On the whole, I am super happy with this buy and in total awe of this shade!! *woot*
Pros of Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey:
- Free from harmful ingredients like Formaldehyde, Toluene, Camphor and dibutyl phthalate.
- Hot candy pink shade! Such a summer shade! 😀
- 1-2 coats give complete opaque coverage.
- Staying power is good.
- Glossy finish and has no shimmer or glitter in it.
- Application is smooth and even.
Cons of Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey:
- Price might be an issue.
Would I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tobey?
Yes, I would definitely recommend this hot shade! If you love pink then this is a must-have!! 😀 Yes, I will repurchase it once it’s done! *happy dance* I don’t think this is getting over anytime soon though 😛 I also want to try other shades from Zoya!! ♥
Until next time, take care ladies!! ♥ *puchhi*
