The Body Shop Satsuma Eau De Toilette

Hello IMBB beauties,

Hope you all are having fun in monsoons. Somehow I am not very fond of this rainy season it makes me feel dull and gloomy and when to top it all I live in city where summer stays for hardly 2 months and monsoon stays for 4 long months. This makes me miss summer , yes I can see you all raising eyebrows but that’s true. So one day I when to the body shop to buy pore minimiser I sniffed this EDT and it screamed summer to me and I got this baby home with me.

Price:

The Body Shop Satsuma EauDe Toilette

INR 795 for 30ml

What product claims:

Can’t get enough of Satsuma? Get a fix of your favorite zingy scent in an eau de toilette format.

  • • Eau de toilette
  • • Light and wearable
  • • Zingy, energising scent
  • • Contains satsuma extract

My experience with The Body Shop Satsuma Eau De Toilette:

I am not fan of fruity smells but citrusy fruity smell is an exception. Citrus ones are best for summers and they givea  nice fresh feel. Citruss makes me feel very happy, and young. Satsuma is a citrus fruit which looks and tastes like oranges but it is seedless. This Satsuma EDT is like freshly peeled oranges. When sprayed it smells strongly like fresh oranges and slowly settles down to a subtle orange smell. This is an energetic, fresh smell which gives a wonderful kick start to the day.

Coming to the staying power, it stays strong for first 2-3 hours when people who come close to you can also smell it. After that it faints a bit but you can feel it on you till 5 hours after application. After that you need to literally sniff your skin to feel this smell. I was expecting more from this EDT, as even body mist stays for 4-5 hours so an EDT should last longer than that.
It comes in glass bottle, with silver spray head and cap. Nothing extraordinary or cute about packaging but is practical. It does not cause any irritation on skin and no staining on cloths.
