What I love about Clinique Fresh Bloom All Over Colour?

  • The design. I love how they have packed theΒ  flower. All blooming and fresh.
  • The shade I have is a bronzy golden colour. Even on the days when I am looking tired , I just apply it on your cheeks and it gives a healthy glow to my face.
  • The powder is pretty long wearing. It stays on for good 4-5 hours on my face.
  • The colours are sheer but buildable.
  • Can be used as eye shadows.Β  Tried and tested. πŸ˜›
  • Comes with a big in-built mirror.
  • I mainly use the Almond Blossom shade for cheeks and highlighting but this makes a great product for contouring and highlighting as well.
  • The powders are very fine and silky.
  • The highlighter is not super shimmery. It’s rather so fine that you can barely go overboard with it.
  • It doesn’t accentuate my pores.
  • Like all Clinique’s packaging, this one is also quite simple and elegant.

What I don’t like about Clinique All over Colour?

  • It doesn’t come with any applicator. πŸ™ You would have to carry a separate brush if you are traveling with it.

A little word of caution. As the name says, it’s an all over colour so the texture of the product is kept sheer so that it can be applied all over the face. You might get into thinking that the colours are not showing on you. Well!! the coloursΒ  show , you just have to build them up.

And this is me. πŸ™‚ I have lightly dusted the colour all over my face and then I have built the colour on my cheeks.

  1. Wow Rati…. you are looking great πŸ™‚ glowing skin πŸ™‚

I love the packaging of this one πŸ™‚

  2. I think this particular colour will suit a lot of Indian skin tones. πŸ™‚

Do you use anything from Clinique?

    Thank you. πŸ™‚

    1. I’ve tried one of their lipsticks…was free when my friend purchased somethin from clinique and I look the free stuff πŸ™‚ pretty good…yet to try the rest πŸ™‚ Mayb this one πŸ™‚

  3. i dont have any of the clinique’s prod except for the 3 step one…
would have to look at this …
its looking good on you and pretty wearable too …
what are ur fav. clinique’s prod.???
and which camera are u using???
the pics have come up crystel clear

  4. Rashmi,

My fav is the Clinique’s lipstick, cream liner and their toner from the 3 step. The toner is alcohol based but I find it very refreshing and it clears out the dirt from my pores.

The lipstick as you would see already has a dent in it and shows how much I wear it. πŸ˜›

  5. Heyy..you are looking GOOD πŸ™‚ The flower design is so beautiful…they have eyeshadows also like this, don’t they?

  6. thanks rati for such a quick reply

i do have toner but i really wonder why m not happy with it… may be it went into my eyes for 1 – 2 times so …
i still think m soo much into mac …. mac is my boyfriend or girlfriend
whenevr we come back from a mac store… while sleeping i think abt that only n suddnly my hubby says rashmi come back from store… it happens ALWAYS … now dev also knows my this habit n me too likes to hear those words from him πŸ™‚

    1. Rashmi, there are very controversial opinions about clinique 3 step. So I am not even surprised that you are not liking the toner. πŸ™‚

To me, MAC and Clinique are two opposite ends. The crazier the MAC is with colours, the softer the Clinique is with its selection. But if nothing else , def give their cream liner and lipsticks a try. They are excellent. Cream liner, I especially feel has a very unique selection of colours. And the texture is the smoothest I have ever tried. πŸ™‚

I think I will soon reach your level of craziness. :rotfl:

      1. You’re right about Clinique. Their colours are very safe and tame. I have some of their eyeshadow duos which aren’t bad but MAC pigment is a lot nicer. The lip balm (Superbalm in Root Beer) is really moisturizing.

I’ve been using the 3-step-skincare. I started out as Type 2 and it worked well until the weather in Scandinavia changed and turned to Spring that I realised that maybe I should be using Type 3 (coz my younger sister mentioned she was using Type 3 and we both have oily skin).

Now that I’m using Type 3, my skin is much better – but still oily with smaller pimple. The cystic ones have gone away. I also realised I’m probably not agreeing with the MAC primer *prep+prime* I was using – perhaps way too much silicone.
