Hey ladies,

Lip products pamper me a lot whether it is a lip color or a lip balm. I usually stay away from tinted lip balms rather I prefer a moisturising lip color. I prefer colorless lip balms with little or no fragrance in it. While shopping some of the skin care products, the Lipice lip balms caught my eyes. These are available in many other flavours but I picked the one with SPF in it and of course no flavour. Let’s find out more about it.

Product Description:
New Lipice sun care provides natural protection from the damaging effects of the sun, and keeps your lips both soft and moisturised.

Packaging:
It has a twist up bullet type mechanism which is easy to use and travel friendly. The cap of the tube tightly shuts and does not get open by itself. All the information about the product is imprinted on the cap itself which includes its shelf life, weight and ingredients. The color of the cap determines the flavour of the product. The one I chose has a yellow cap as it is the sun care one.

Texture:
It has a yellow tint to it but on application it is absolutely transparent. It does have a light minty scent to it which vanishes after application which is a big plus for me. It does have a thick consistency so to get proper amount of product onto the lips, one has to rub it with a little pressure .It does not have a buttery soft consistency that glides effortlessly on the lips which we usually expect from lip balms.

My Experience with Lipice Sun Care SPF 25 UV Enriched Lip Balm:

For me lip balms are something that I can’t live without. I have dry skin throughout the year and so my lips are also always chapped. This lip balm has surpassed my expectations. It kept my lips hydrated for a good 6 to 7 hours even after a little snacking and drinking. Even at night I apply it before going to bed and I feel my lips are hydrated when I wake up in the morning. It does have a light scent of mint to it which does not bother me.

The only annoying part is the thick consistency of the lip balm. I have to rub it atleast 2 to 3 times to get the desired amount of product onto my lips. It’s really healed my chapped lips and my lips feel smooth throughout the day even when the balm goes off. I also use it over my liquid lipsticks as some lip colors really dry out the lips.

Yes , I would definitely repurchase it till I find my type of lip balm from another brand.I would definitely recommend it , atleast give it a try.
