Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion, Sandalwood and Aloe Vera-Review
Hey Girlies, How ya’ll doing?
I’m back again with another review. The product I’m reviewing today is “Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion, Sandalwood and Aloe Vera”.
Recently I ran out of my HG moisturizer, the Norwegian formula body moisturizer by Neutrogena, I could not find it in any shops nearby and had to order it online. Meanwhile I needed a moisturizer for the time being and that’s when I picked this one up from one of the local super markets.
Santoor is a pretty well-known brand of soap, and looks like now they have forayed into the moisturizer market as well. There are two variants of this moisturizer, one for UV-Protection and Fairness, the other is Light and Rejuvenating, I’m not a big fan of fairness products, hence I thought I will try the latter.Let’s see how it fared!
The packaging is very pretty, I liked the shape of the bottle a lot, looks pretty sitting on your shelf, packaging is also sturdy and it’s got a flip cap which shuts tight, hence travel friendly.
Product description and Ingredient list:
A light non-greasy non sweaty body lotion which hydrates your skin from within leaving it smooth and radiant throughout the day. It has natural extracts of aloe vera that repairs damaged skin and helps to even its tone and texture. So step out with the confidence of youthful glowing skin!
My thoughts on Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion- Sandalwood and Aloe Vera:
The consistency of the product is very similar to that of the Neutrogena moisturizer, The lotion literally melts in the warmth of your palms, It’s light and non-greasy as it claims to be, goes on almost matte on your skin, The fragrance is very similar to the Lux white crème soap, pretty strong initially but fades after a while, The only con I found was that it’s too light a lotion for its own good, barely a few hours after applying my skin started feeling dry, and I had to reapply. I would definitely not recommend this to dry skin beauties as it’s not very hydrating and considering I have normal –combination skin on my body, I might use this lotion during the peak of summer, but for winters, a big no no. All in all a very good lotion for the summer, light and rejuvenating as it claims but you can skip it during the winters.
So here’s the final verdict:
Pros of Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion- Sandalwood and Aloe Vera:
• Light and non-greasy
• Floral-powdery smell that I like
• Has Aloe Vera, Sandalwood extracts and Olive oil
• Attractive and sturdy packaging
• Reasonably priced at 75/- for 150ml
Cons of Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion- Sandalwood and Aloe Vera:
• Not suitable for dry-skinned beauties.
• Not very hydrating.
IMBB Rating –
4.2/5
-0.8 for being not being very hydrating.
Will I recommend Santoor Actiglo Body Lotion- Sandalwood and Aloe Vera?
During summers, yes!
Big hug to ya’ll 🙂 Bye for now, Will be back with more reviews!
