Trim the ends off

Use leave-in conditioners and serums to protect your hair from further damage. There are special leave-in products and styling products for curly hair, always opt for them.
No hot water, please
Never wash your hair with hot water. It rips the moisture off your hair. Washing your hair with cold water locks in the moisture and adds a healthy sheen. If the weather’s really cold and you can’t avoid hot water, then have a last rinse with cold water.
Sulfates are really drying on hair and can also irritate your scalp. So remember to go through the ingredients when you buy hair products and opt for sulfate-free products.
Cover your hair
Whenever you step out of the house, cover your hair with a scarf or a hat to protect your hair from the sun, dust and pollution.
Using brushes on curly hair will pull the hair and cause damage and breakage. Also, you will will end up losing your beautiful curls. Instead, use a wide toothed comb and do not mess with your hair until it is at least 80% dry. This is a great way to maintain the shape and health of your curls.
