Pomegranate and yoghurt face pack

On the other hand, yoghurt has zinc, vitamin B, calcium and lactic acid that help in maintaining the glow of the skin.

How to make: Take 1 tablespoon of pomegranate juice and two tablespoons of yoghurt. Mix both the ingredients well to form a smooth paste. Apply this face pack over cleansed skin and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. After that, rinse if off with lukewarm water and follow up with a moisturiser.

Apple and oats face scrub

Malic acid present in apples helps in skin exfoliation that provides you with a brighter and clearer complexion. Also, apple treats scars and moisturises your skin while giving all the anti-ageing benefits. Oats help in absorbing excess oil from the skin. It also works as an exfoliator and helps in removing dead skin cells. Oats moisturise the skin, too. How to make: Take 2-3 tablespoons of apple puree or preservative-free applesauce, 1-2 tablespoon of ground oats and 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well. Now, apply this scrub over your face and neck area and leave it on for 10 minutes. After this, scrub it off in a circular motion and wash it off with lukewarm water.

Pineapple and papaya exfoliating face pack

This exfoliating face pack is packed with enzymes that help in mild exfoliation of the skin to make it clearer and radiant. Enzymes present in papaya and pineapple remove traces of dry and flaky skin by providing moisture. Both fruits offer skin lightening properties and help in dealing with uneven skin tone. How to make: Take 3-4 cubes of papaya and a slice of pineapple. Blend both the ingredients in the food processor. Add 1 tablespoon of honey to it and mix well. Now, with the help of a cotton ball, apply this exfoliating face pack over your face and neck. Let it be there for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Follow up with your favourite moisturiser.

Avocado with olive oil hair mask

Avocado provides an ample amount of moisture to your hair and treats dry and itchy scalp. The amino acids present in avocado penetrate deeply into the scalp and nourish it while maintaining its health. This keeps the hair follicles strong and promotes the growth of healthy hair. Apart from this, olive oil improves the blood circulation and aids hair growth.

How to make: Mash an avocado and add 2-3 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this hair mask and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then, rinse it off and follow up with a shampoo, if needed.

Strawberry and almond body scrub

Strawberries help in soothing the skin and clearing up the complexion. They prove to be a great exfoliator for the skin. They treat dry and flaky skin while providing all the anti-ageing benefits. Brown sugar helps in exfoliating the skin, making it softer. The almond paste will help in moisturising your skin and impart a subtle glow to it. Also, vitamin E present in almonds helps in counterbalancing free radicals.

How to make: Mash 4 strawberries and add half a cup of brown sugar or white sugar to it. Add a tablespoon of fine almond paste to the scrub. Mix the ingredients well. Apply this over your body in circular motions. Wash it off, as usual.
