Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50 Review

Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50

Hello everyone šŸ™‚

Today I am going to review Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50.

I wasĀ going through nainaā€™s review on the ā€œcucumber Sun Screen SPF 30ā€ the other day and realized Iā€™ve the half used sun block SPF 50 lying in my cupboard for quite some time now. There was a time when I couldnā€™t step out without this product but somehow Iā€™ve stopped using this. ?:) (I guess I can blame lotus for introducing so many types of sunscreens every few months  )

So as I said, after reading the review of the SPF 30, I could not stop myself from sharing my opinion on this one as this is one of the best sunscreens Iā€™ve ever come across. Sad I cannot apply it on my face now. :chewnails:( itā€™s going to expire in 2 months so have to finish it off applying on my hands n feet :methinks: )

My experience withĀ Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50

The packaging is not any different from the other tube products that Aroma Magic sells. The cap is very sturdy. So you donā€™t have to worry about the product spilling out inside your bag while travelling.

As you can see it is a pearly white cream and the consistency is quite thick. But it spreads very easily. So a small amount is required for application.

The cream may seem really white and sticky but it gets absorbed in the skin very easily.

You can clearly see the difference in my hand. I just love the sheen it leaves behind on the skin. It moisturizes without being very oily and greasy. It even absorbs excess oil giving you a matte look in seconds. So it can be used on all types of skin. Iā€™ve combination skin and it worked fine for me.

aromamagic6

For the whole time I used it regularly, it never broke me out. Can make you sweat though, but its fine after the initial 10minutes.one thing I donā€™t like about this is immediately after application the feeling you get, like you have something on your face .It suddenly adds a lot of weight on your face/skin. I mean you cannot see it but still itā€™s not a very nice feeling. This is the reason I doubt if it can be applied on children.

It does not block all the tanning but it definitely stops you from getting severely tanned. And I think itā€™s all in the head. Just a look onā€ SPF 50ā€ somehow makes me feel good and safe.

Pros of Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50 :

1. Works great as a sunscreen.
2. Did not break me out.
3. Gets absorbed into skin quickly n easily.
4. Absorbs excess oil giving you a smooth matte finish and a subtle glow.
5. Could not find any harmful chemicals.
6. suitable for all skin types.
7. Light on the pocket.

Cons of Aroma Magic Sun Block SPF 50:

1. The heavy feel after application. Itā€™s gone after some time thoughā€¦ :methinks:
Yes itā€™s the only thing I donā€™t like about this cream.

My rating 3.75 out of 5

The final verdict

It is a great product and works really fine. But after using the all the lotus sunscreens I somehow like them better. They donā€™t feel heavy on my skin like this. So Iā€™ll not buy it again. But for people who are sensitive to other sunscreens and have oily and combination skin. They should definitely give this a try.

  4. Very nice review, am using neutregena one and I love so much tht i hav no plans to change tht, anyways nice pics

      1. Not at all..I have a very oily t-zone and Neutrogena dry touch (chota wala tube for 150 bucks) kept the matte look on for a couple of hours atleast. šŸ™‚

  5. My skin is very sensitive . I am using aroma magic aloe vera sunscreen gel for last 3 – 4 years. I am quite satisfied with this product. Now can I use this aroma magic SPF 50 sun block cream instead of aloe vera sunscreen gel? Will it be suitable for my skin?
