Avon Foot Scrubs : Citrus Gel vs Pomegranate Chocolate

Avon footworks refreshing citrus gel scrub with salt vs avon footworks pomegranate chocolate smoothing foot scrub

avon foot scrub review

I feel we ladies often ignore our hard working feet . I know many of my friends who donโ€™t have a separate foot cream or spray or talc for their feet and they often walk quite a lot to office everyday :(( We all deserve to pamper our feet because they go through so much . I wanna say something controversial once someone told me that a lady with beautiful feet has a beautiful body too :dumb: I hate it when I have cracked heels in winters (not in Chennai ) :happydance: and specially when I walk and all the dirt and dust from the Indian roads is stuck to my feet . just two or three steps everyday can save us from calluses , cracked heels and hard skin on feet and give us pretty feet  if we can inculcate a foot scrub in our regular showers everyday and post office shower too as thatโ€™s the time our feet are most tired, and the second step of moisturising our feet well before bed can be miraculous. If you donโ€™t own a foot scrub yet, you may consider these as these are nice easily available and affordable :)) these work well as an everyday scrub if you do walk and may be twice a week if you donโ€™t . These will ensure you dont have call uses which are a horror to look at :yikes: for the foot cream part, avon offers a lot of them an so do many other brands like scholl to name one . Oriflame too has an overnight foot moisturising cream for us . ๐Ÿ™‚
Here goes the comparison of my two most fav foot scrubs because these are so good yet so affordable !

Pomegranate chocolate smoothing foot scrub:

avon foot scrub pomegranate and chocolate
This one is out in the sale items from avon this month. I thought holding the name that it does it would be definitely out of stock and I order five for me and my friends. And I got them all . The name is too tempting to ignore but the pomegranate chocolate combi confuses me :stars: nevertheless itโ€™s a great granulated foot scrub that smells heavenly of chocolate and mildly fruity . It has got rounded type granules and not the regular apricot rough kinds :yuck: its gentle yet effective and I like it quite a lot because the texture goes from gel to lathery and creamy when you rub it into the skin and becomes thick .

You can easily concentrate the product on dark spots on the feet in circular motions. Do it in shower for a week and see the results. A coin sized amount is enough for one feet and this tube would last me two months if I use it thrice a week ๐Ÿ˜› it leaves feet smooth and the skin texture improved with time .The packaging is cute and the flip cap is great to keep it on the bathroom shelf as you donโ€™t have to mess with the screw cap :/ its an awesome deal in 79 rupees in this month avon sale items

Avon refreshing citrus gel scrub with salt

Avon refreshing citrus gel scrub with salt:
This is one of the avonโ€™s foot works product from their permanent line of foot care which includes the complete three step care of soaking , scrubbing and then moisturising.

Avon citrus foot scrub

It is gel form and concentrated beads for scrubbing action but the consistency is lighter than the chocolate one. It does not lather on rubbing but just vanishes in to the skin.It works best in combi with the other citrus range. It smells like a sour sweet lime and I love citrus fragrances so I like this one especially for tired feet (or may be sweaty too ) 50 ml tube is good enough but the cap is screw one and not flip which I donโ€™t like as more often than not I drop it and it goes rolling here and there :/ I like this too as it is not too harsh but works just fine on rough spots

Last word:
You can try any of those. These are 50 ml each but still the size of the tube varies. It is your choice of fragrance that can help you chose. The chocolate one with flip cap is my recent favourite ๐Ÿ™‚ If you donโ€™t have an avon rep still you can get in touch with me.

  1. i used to love avon foot creams….never tried their scrubs as i got hooked to the scholl’s scrub which is quite effective………I’ll look out for these now ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜€

like the pomengranate chocolate one ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ …. i usually use a regular face scrub…dat too once in say 3 wks or a month…. but thanks to your post :thanks: .. am now really concerned bout my flat foot(yea it pains a lot when have to stand in long ot’s :(( ).. but want taps to help me here again…avon kolkata me kaha milega..i know a few shops keep scholl though..bt its a bit pricey :-/

  3. Neha I have used the citrus one . I do loved the smell but I guess the granules were not coarse enough for my feet so I stopped using it. but since you have mentioned that the pomegranate one has bigger granules I’d give that a try now. :woot: :woot: I have been using my face scrub only for my feet from past 2 months. :((

    1. rati, the pomegranate one also does not have granules abrasive enuf for foot scrubbing… i have used it ๐Ÿ˜
i wud any day not recommend this as a foot scrub at all… ๐Ÿ˜

            1. rati dont buy the scholl one…..its a little too abrasive…..its almost like having to rub small sand like grains over ur feet…. :waiting: :waiting: :waiting: may be good for the heel area….but otherwise u cant imagine rubbing it over ur toes and foot area…. :spank:

                1. hehehee…. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ the rati shud buy only the big granules which are the soft ones for her komal feel :jalwa: :jalwa: :jalwa: but the big granules of the scholl are the big hurting and scratchy ๐Ÿ˜ฅ so rati buys the big granules scrub but in some nice brand

  6. U reminded me that i need to scrub my feet.. i was just ignoring them but not anymore.. me to using Everyuth Walnut scrub as body scrub will try to get one of these foot scrub soon… :jog: :jog: :jog: ..just wanted to know… Neha u r an Avon Agent??

  7. For Best- est Results : Bleach your feet once in 2 weeks, Put foot scrub ( any brand you use) as pack ( leave it) for minimum 30 minutes. Put 3 drops of oil and Rub and then wash off.

After foot spa visit in Singapore, this is sure shot remedy, try it out. 5-6 friends have tried it out, works well with them.
