Hope you all are well! Here I am with my second review; it feels so good to write here on IMBB. Like many of you, I am also a big fan of TBS products and have used almost all from their skin care range, but I have never tried their body mists, so this time as the sale was going on, I thought to pick up one. Firstly, I was not sure of purchasing this one just because of the name tobacco in it, but somewhere at the back of my mind, it said smell this perfume before the name puts you off. The moment I sniffed it, I liked it and bought it. I came home and Googled the term “tobacco flower” and got this little info:
“Fragnant tobacco flowers comes from different species than those used for smoking, chewing, etc. The flower of the nicotiana affinis are particularly fragrant and are interesting subject to the perfumer.”
Alcohol Denat.66%, Aqua,Parfum,Mel,Benzyl Benzoate,Butylphenyl Menthylpropional,t-Butyl Alcohol,Limonene,Alpha-Isomethyl lonone,Linalool,Coumarin,Citronellol,Denatonium Benzoate.
My Experience with The Body Shop Tobacco Flower Body Mist:
Let’s start with the smell; I spray this all over just after taking shower. It’s a musky, floral, sensuous rich scent with slightly smoky undertones. Since this is my first mist from TBS, cannot compare with other range. Floral fragrances are not my personal favourite, but this particular mist is somewhere between those woody, spicy fragrances. I like the smell a lot which is not overpowering at all. Actually, it’s delicate, yet rich and sweet and has got a feminine touch to it. People who are fond of floral smell would find this mist a little musky. However, the smell does not stay for a long time, it fades pretty quickly leaving a sweet smell behind. It stays less than two hours which makes me sad.
The body mist comes in a simple round shape plastic bottle with a classy flower border along the sides, sticker in the front, and a bronze-coloured cap. The bronze colour nozzle dispenses the right amount of spray every time. The bottle is transparent and lightweight which is easy to carry around.
Pros of The Body Shop Tobacco Flower Body Mist:
- Sweet, sensuous fragrance which is perfect for summers.
- Comes in a see-through plastic bottle which is travel friendly.
- Can be used both by men and women.
- Since it is quite a big bottle, it might last for a long time.
Cons of The Body Shop Tobacco Flower Body Mist:
- Staying power is very less.
Will I Repurchase The Body Shop Tobacco Flower Body Mist?
Maybe no, because of the staying power which is very less. Also, I am eager to try their other fragrances.
