My Experience with Clearasil Ultra 5 in 1 Peeling/Exfoliant:
The Peeling/Exfoliant comes in a tube packaging with a flip cap. The cap is not very tight but, there is no leakage and hence, the product is a travel-friendly one. The product is creamy blue in color and has very tiny particles.
The texture is weird and it reminds me of a men’s thick shaving cream. The smell is fine, a bit pleasant but nothing great. The product can be used every day but, I prefer using it only once in a while since it is a peeling exfoliant.
The product contains salicylic acid and works best for women with acne-prone skin. After using this product, you will notice a bright and clear skin. Since the product contains salicylic acid, it dries out the skin after usage. It is mandatory that you follow it up with a good moisturiser.
The beads present in the scrub are very small and they don’t do a great job other than removing the dry flakes and white heads present near the corners of my nose. The product does mattify the skin by reducing the oiliness and for someone with combination skin like me, the face remains oil free for a good 4 hours and I am happy about it. The product does not reduce or eliminate blackheads.
The product is not very harsh on my skin and doesn’t cause any redness or irritation and hence, it will work great for women with sensitive skin also. It doesn’t really make any difference in clearing up my acne. I used it for 5 days continuously on a pimple but unfortunately, it didn’t make any difference except for that pimple disappeared after a week. I guess this is just a natural process and it has nothing to do with the scrub so, it is a big disappointment for acne fighting capabilities. It does make the skin clean but, I am not sure if it does justice in preventing the acne. The face wash is a typical daily wash and is not a great product for acne. The product also contains SLS and there are many products that do not contain SLS but gives better results and you can try them instead of this.

Cons of Clearasil Ultra 5 in 1 Peeling/Exfoliant:
- Dries the skin and a moisturiser is a must.
- Contains SLS.
- Doesn’t reduce acne or prevent it.
- Just an everyday cleanser.

As an everyday cleanser, I would prefer using it but, not for acne.
