Coastal Scents Professional 10 Blush Palette

I hope you guys are doing great and enjoying the good sunny weather. You can see the clothes on the mannequin changing from winter to summery flowy dresses and beauty brands coming out with bright, bold colors for their spring line. Apparently this season the colors Peach and Corals in nail polish, lip glosses, eye shadows and blushes are so hot that I think I have too much coral in my makeup collection now. But these trends keep changing which means you need to update your makeup collection accordingly. Today I am going to talk about the Coastal Scents Professional 10 Blush Palette. Honestly speaking ever since I got this palette I have stopped looking for more blushes since I am covered for all seasons when it comes to different blush shades. Coastal Scents is famous for its great color payoffs, great pigmentation and cheap prices. Just like every other beauty product this 10 Blush palette by Coastal Scents has all the colors for blush that you might ever need no matter what skin tone you have.

Claims by Coastal Scents:
Their professional blush palette is ideal for makeup artists to have 10 different blushes under one cover which is why it’s also great for travelling. You can add a touch of warm, natural glow to your face with these blushes. It has 4 matte shades while the rest of the 6 shades have a beautiful sheen shimmer to it.

Ingredients:

Talc Mica,Mineral Oil, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Lanolin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, May Contain: Mica and Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Ultramarine Blue, FD&C Red No. 40 A1 Lake, FD&C Red No. 7 Ca Lake, FD&C Yellow No.5 A1 Lake, FD&C Blue No.1 A1 Lake.

Packaging:

For a price of Dhms 150 this blush palette has a quality of a high end makeup brand. The sleek black cover makes the blushes look more vibrant and beautiful. Due to its lean packaging it is ideal for travelling where you can not only get 10 different blush shades but mix 2 or 3 blushes and make a new color of your own. I absolutely love this Blush palette since it made me save money on purchasing more blushes from other makeup brands. Net weight of the Professional Blush palette is 35.0grams/1.23oz having a single blush pot diameter of 3.7cm which is a pretty decent amount for the price.

Shades and Swatches:
Coastal Scents offers 10 Blushes in this palette starting off from lighter colors to the dark and deepest shades. This palette consists of 4 matte blushes while the rest of the 6 blushes have bit of sheen to them. It has shades like purplish lilac to baby pink to peach and coral blush shades with a matte hot pink to nude and deep brown blush. I have used the far right brown blush as a bronzer also and it works perfectly since I don’t mind a bit of shimmer in my bronzer.

Pros of Coastal Scents Professional 10 Blush Palette:

-Inexpensive.
-For being such low in price you get 10 great quality blushes.
-Great pigmentation and color payoff.
-Great for travelling

Cons of Coastal Scents Professional 10 Blush Palette:

-May appear chalky and ashy if not blended well.
-They are not long lasting and tend to fade out after 4-5 hours maximum.
-If you run out of few blushes they can’t be replaced separately but you will need to buy a whole new CS blush palette.
-The ingredients used are bit too harsh for people with sensitive skin. I recommend swatching the shades first before purchasing the whole palette.
-The palette doesn’t have a mirror.
