I am going to be wearing a mauvish-purplish colour saree for an upcoming wedding function. So I wanted a matching lipstick for my dress. But my concern is always buying the best within my budget. I have used Lakme and Revlon lipsticks (review in upcoming posts) so far. Where Lakme lipstick range is within my budget, Revlon doesn’t fit my pocket. I have been using a lot of ColorBar products so this time I decided to get my hands on Colorbar Soft Touch Lipsticks.

Here are the Pros:

1. You have alot  of shades to choose from. So you will get at least one shade of your choice every time you plan to buy a new lip colour for yourself.

2. Very moisturizing. This was my biggest concern and so far, I am happy with it.

3. Pretty and convenient packaging. 🙂

4. Not very long lasting but would stay for at least 2-3 hours with an okayish shade on your lips.

I have no cons to list yet. Just loving every bit of it.

Will I buy it again? Yes, again and again. 🙂

Price Comparison:
Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick : Rs 220

Lakme nine to five lipsticks– Rs 295

Colorbar Soft Touch Lipstick – Rs 275

MBB Rating (on scale of 5): 4

  1. hey, do u know something? maybelline watershine is discontinued. Not sure in India, but they dont do it anymore. They are replaced by color sensational range. I was about to buy so many shades from the watershine range, but they broke the news 🙁

tell me if its d same in india! I want the watershine range back. can u also lemme know the price?

  2. Oh! I didn’t know this. Although last month when I went to buy their diamond shine lipgloss in transparent, they said that they were out of stock of the product. In lieu of that, I bought a plain clear gloss. I didn’t know it has been discontinued. 🙁 this makes me so sad. I loved it so much.

In any case, the next time I go shopping I will find out about it and will let you know. My Maybelline’s clear gloss came for Rs 195 for a very tiny bottle. But I don’t mind paying for it. It is very light and non sticky gloss as compared to some other brands lip glosses.

  3. i cant tell u how much am loving ur blog wish i found it from b4 that i only have 5 months left in india but its ok i will make the best out 😉
