Coloressence Premia Lip Color – Bridal 2 Be Review

Hello All,

I have used most of the Coloressence lipsticks of the Mesmerizing range, but I had never used a single one from their “Premia” range. Since, it is about a hundred bucks more than the Mesmerising range, I assumed they would be better and I bought a shade called “Bridal 2 Be.” Read on to find out if this shade is a hit or a miss.

Product Description:

Dazzling crystal effects lipstick that cares for your lips as it colours. Rich in vitamin E, jojoba oil and licorice extract that reduces lines, repair lips and lip plumper.

Ingredients:

Jojoba oil, Licorice extract. No other ingredients are mentioned.

My Experience with Coloressence Premia Lip Color – Bridal 2 Be:

I am absolutely in love with the packaging. It is a sleek silver tube, neither round nor square, very elegant, very chic, very futuristic, if you will. It seems to be something out of the planet Cybertron, maybe an autobot in the guise of a lipstick 😛 Conspiracy theories aside, the cap locks in on the case with a distinct click and would stay intact in bag.

The lipstick smells like how ordinary lipsticks do. The lipstick appears to be maroon in the bullet with golden shimmer, but takes on an entirely different hue on the lips, a very rich rubine red, that I like, if not love. Of course, the shimmer is there, but if you do not consider this fact as an impediment, this colour will look lovely on women throughout the complexion spectrum.

The formula of the lipstick is a tad better than the Mesmerising ones, at least this particular shade is. This is not at all hard, a little towards the creamier side, even.  One thing though, the first time it did not seem as creamy as after a couple of uses. This shade is neither dry nor moisturizing. Wear a lip balm underneath and it won’t feel dry in the least.

The staying power of this particular shade is very low, starts fading as soon as after about half an hour of application.  Also, this lipstick transfers very easy. This lipstick will certainly bleed if you are not careful enough. The staying power can be increased by using a lip liner each time, but I consider it a hassle. I do it once in a while, but I can’t do it every time I put on the lipstick.

It’s a nice shade and an okay formula, but I think there are much better range of lipsticks available at this price range, for instance the Lakme Enrich range or the Maybelline Color Sensational range and so many others. I won’t recommend this lipstick to anybody.

• The edgy packaging.
• Nice ruby shade that will work on all complexions.
• Not dry.
• Not hard.

Cons of Coloressence Premia Lip Color – Bridal 2 Be:

• Contains shimmer.
• Staying power is ridiculously low.
• Transfers easy.

No, there are much better lipsticks available in this range.
