How to Use:
After cleansing face and neck, pour small amount of toner onto hands or cotton pads and pat gently onto skin. Follow with sheet mask (optional recommended twice a week), essence, serum, eye cream, then a moisturizer.

My Experience with Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner:

Packaging: Dear Klairs supple preparation facial toner comes in a cylindrical, dark coloured bottle with a screw cap. The bottle is dark, but not truly opaque and you can keep track of how much product is left. It houses all the information regarding the product. The bottle has a small hole to let the water pour over cotton pad or hands. The bottle is sturdy, but lightweight and does not leak at all. The bottle has an outer cardboard packaging that also houses all the information about the product.

Texture and Fragrance: The toner is extremely lightweight. It has a slightly thick, gel-like texture and non-sticky formula. The lightweight formula of this toner makes it get absorbed into the skin easily. The supple preparation toner is transparent in colour and has a mildly sweet, fresh and pleasant fragrance. The scent is herbal with hint of citrus. Though liking any scent is personal preference, I really like the fragrance of this toner from Klairs. The fragrance does not irritate the nose and gets disappeared as soon as the product sinks into the skin.

Usage/Result: I absolutely love Korean’s most popular 7-skin method and following it since past few months. It all started with Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Skin. Even though I have normal to oily skin, I couldn’t opt for alcohol-based or clarifying toners as they lead my skin to breakouts. Hence, I have to keep my peace with hydrating or basic toners. And, since I am using hydrating toner then why not follow the popular 7-skin method.

I apply this toner once or twice a day after cleansing my face. Since the toner is slightly thick and gel-like, I take a tiny amount, rub between my palms and then gently pat it all over the face and neck. It hardly takes a minute to sink into the skin. After getting absorbed, it does not leave any sheen behind and makes skin hydrated, nourished, soft and smooth. It also balances skin pH and provides the skin with a very subtle glow.The toner provides skin with soft moist finish. The toner soothes the skin and had never clogged up the pores.

When it comes to layering in summer, I only apply a single layer in the morning and then follow up with emulsion from Avene. At night, I usually apply two layers of the toner and then follow up with the emulsion. Since, in summer the skin already produces excess sebum, I refrain from too much layering of the hydrating toner while I enjoy doing so in winter. My skin has becomes softer and moist.

Overall, it is a hydrating toner that balances the pH level and makes skin soft and smooth. It gets sink into the skin quickly and doesn’t make skin greasy or leave any residue behind. However, it is a hydrating toner and if you have extremely oily skin, then it may not be a good option for you while dry skin beauties will like it.
