Hope you are having a great day! Today I am reviewing a body wash from Dove’s VisibleCare range. This is the Dove VisibleCare Toning Creme Body Wash.

My experience with Dove VisibleCare Toning Creme Body Wash:

The Dove VisibleCare Toning Creme Body Wash comes packed in a white and light green shaded flip top bottle. The bottle is opaque, so you really cannot see how much product is left. The cap closes tightly and you can travel with it.

The body wash itself is white in color. It has a very thick and creamy texture. It lathers really well and a small amount is enough to produce rich, luxurious foam with your loofah or even when you apply it directly on your skin. This is one of the best creamy body washes that I have used.

This body wash, like all Dove products, smells really great! It is a clean and fresh scent. Dove describes it as a ‘warm ylang ylang and delicate wood fragrance with robust citrus notes of mandarin and Italian bergamot’. I love the scent. The best part is that the scent lasted on my skin for over four hours. This is based on the days when I skipped moisturizer, so that I can see how the product works! Four hours may not seem much, but most body washes that I have used do not have any lingering fragrance at all!

This body wash being so creamy does not leave the skin feeling greasy. This body wash claims to contain Vitamin E and Dove’s NutriumMoisture. My skin feels really moisturized and hydrated, as if you have used a body lotion. I have skipped using a moisturizer on quite a few days when I use this body wash and did not face any dryness. But of course I would not advise you to do this regularly! Nourishing though this body wash maybe, it cannot completely replace daily moisturization with a lotion. It is good for days when you are in a hurry and do not have time to use a body lotion.

As far as the toning effects are concerned, I don’t think that this body wash alone can tone the skin! It does make the skin soft and silky. But no firming or toning effects, even after two weeks of continuous use. I do feel that it improves the condition of my skin well enough that I can manage even without a body lotion.

Cons of Dove VisibleCare Toning Creme Body Wash:

 No toning effect on the skin
 May not be available in India yet

Recommendation:

This is a really wonderful creamy body wash. It is good for both summers and the winters. Do try this!
