Hello everyone!

Just few months ago, besides lipsticks, BB creams were the only love in face makeup for me. But, then came the IMBB sponsored Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup and it took over the entire BB cream collection, I had.

Yet still, I have some space in my stash to add on to the new ones on trial basis. Besides loving Garnier B-B Cream and Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35, I am using Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++ and have fallen for it. Let us see why this one is worth a purchase.

Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++

My Take on Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++:

Starting with a quick glimpse over the packaging of Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++, it comes in a light and dull teal tube, which has a screw cap that closes tight to make it travel friendly. The nozzle dispenses right amount and the packaging is light weight.

I want to write more about the performance as I really like the formula. The texture of Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++ is ideally thin but not runny, which makes it easy to blend. It can be blended with a brush, a sponge or with fingers to save time. The formula is really very hydrating. The brand’s claims of 50% moisture stand validated here. Once you apply it, you can instantly feel the splash of water and hydration on skin, along with the calming effect due to the presence of aloe vera in the formula.

We are experiencing harsh sunny days here and it soothes my irritated skin. It provides decent amount of moisture to skin as well. It comes in one shade, which is typically an ivory shade with neutral undertones to go with both warm and cool skin tones.

I had a bit of reservation about the shade, when I swatched it first. I thought it will look ashy on me but the brand proved me wrong. Once blended, it resembles skin’s natural tone and adjusts itself. It is quick absorbing and sinks perfectly in skin. It does not induce breakouts or cause irritation. There were no dry patches at all. Rather, Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++ makes my oily skin look fresh for 4-5 hours even in humid climate (may be due to presence of alcohol in ingredient list).

The formula is extremely light weight on skin. Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++ wearing time is 4-5 hours on average, which is not bad considering the water based formula. It has SPF 25 that is pretty enough to not add an extra sunscreen. Dry skin beauties will need added moisturiser before application.

P.S: I am NC-25/NC-30 for shade reference.
