My Experience with Forest Essentials Bengal Tuberose Hair Conditioner:

I am a major fan of Forest Essentials skin care products and I don’t hesitate in trying anything from this brand at all. I love most of its products be it their ubtans, cleansers, facial mists, scrubs or facial creams. I had not tried anything from their hair care range though, so I bought this conditioner last month with very high expectations. I picked up this particular conditioner considering the very impressive ingredients list plus it is free from Parabens, Petroleum, GMO, Sulphates, Formaldehyde etc. and also since, Jomol gave a thumbs up to the FE Bengal tuberose Shampoo.

The conditioner comes in typical/signature FE packaging, a long plastic bottle with a golden screw off cap. Since, it’s a see-through/transparent plastic packaging, you can easily get an idea about the quantity you are left with. A plastic nozzle cap is present at the mouth of the bottle which helps in dispensing the required quantity of conditioner. It’s a pretty packaging I feel and it looks nice standing there on my bathroom shelf 😛

The white-colored conditioner has a creamy formula with somewhat thin-flowy consistency. It has this wonderful, floral, mild fragrance which I absolutely adore and enjoy. I believe one major USP of Forest Essentials is the heavenly fragrances all its products have.

Now, coming to its working, unfortunately this conditioner does absolutely nothing for my dry, slightly damaged hair.  They look and feel pretty much the same as they are when I don’t use any conditioner (apart from the pleasant fragrance it leaves behind).  I have even tested it by taking in a good/large amount of conditioner, but there is absolutely no result/effect at all.  Also, I feel it does not spread well/easily. I don’t know if I should be satisfied about the fact that it did not do any damage/bad to my hair at least (forget making them smooth, tangle free, less frizzy, shiny etc) *headbang*

Forest Essentials Bengal Tuberose Hair Conditioner

I had very high expectations from this product, but I am left mighty disappointed. At the price point, I could have easily got myself any L’Oreal/Matrix/Schwarzkopf hair mask. I have used this four times before I could make an opinion about this conditioner, but it has failed to impress me completely. I am not sure whether I will try anything else from Forest Essentials Hair care range. I will not recommend this conditioner to anyone (even if one has normal hair). I will rather buy a hair mask no matter how high on chemicals it may be than buying a product which claims to be all natural and does NOTHING to my hair. I have this patronage for Forest Essentials skin care range, but their hair care range is absolutely off my list now.
