I have been wanting to try some products from Forest Essentials after reading all the goody good stuff about their products HERE.

I went to their store and asked the SA to give me a day moisturizer for  normal to dry skin type. She gave me the Panchpushp Light Day Lotion with SPF 25.

I must say that I am super happy with the  product. I am almost half way through the bottle and I just don’t want it to finish ever. 😛

It is a light day time moisturizer for normal to dry skin. Although it says that it would suit all skin types, I would really not recommend it to oily skin beauties. It comes in a transparent pump bottle so it is easier to use and also the bottle is quite light weight so you can it around.

The product is light cream color semi thick lotion, which keeps my normal to dry skin hydrated all day long. It smells heavenly – may be a misture of fresh roses and sandalwood. The fragrance lingers for a while and it adds so much fragrance to it surroundings as well. I love it. It gets absorbed quickly without leaving any residue behind. It does not feel heavy and it works so well for my skin. I don’t feel an itch of dryness in my skin all day long. No dry patches and no stretchy skin.

I love the ingredient list. Although the full list is not mentioned but since it is an Ayurvedic product, I am hoping that the list would just be fine.

Highly recommend it for those with normal to dry skin. Very good stuff! 🙂

The only negative thing I’d say is that the prices mentioned on their website are higher than what you get in the stores. And those who don’t have FE stores in their area, would have to rely on purchasing it online only. 🙁

  1. priti, I use fabindia rose water, then this and then sunscreen. i kinda let everything settle . Meanwhile i do my eye makeup etc and then do the face makeup. By that times everything has got absorbed in my skin.

    Hope that helps.

May be the compact foundation you are using is oxidizing on you. Do you use a primer?

Rati…I always have the same problem lyk Priti… No matter wat foundation i use it makes me dark..
What is the meaning of oxidising when it comes to foundation ?:) I’m sorry if i’m asking a silly/dumb question… 😐

    1. oxidizing means that the oils in your skin are reacting with the foundation ingre and making it go orange or darker. so one ha sto use a primer , which acts as a barrier between your skin and foundation making the foundtaion to last longer and look fresher. 🙂

  7. I too have a problem like this rati. What ever color lipstick i apply it turns orange. I apply vaseline and then apply lipstick. My husband hates to see me like that so do I but i’ve load of lipsticks which i want to use. Please advice.

Excuse me if i’m posting at the wrong place.
