As I was strolling down Wal-Mart isles, I saw a stand with different face masks for under 2 dollars. I immediately remembered reading reviews on IMBB about this particular brand and decided to pick up the most interesting kind – Charcoal and Black Sugar.
Dual-Action Purifying Mask and Smoothing Exfoliant. Pollution…debris…it’s a wonder skin can breathe! This unique mask and scrub works double time to detox skin. First, naturally purifying Activated Charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. Then, Black Sugar helps exfoliate away dulling skin cells for softness and clarity. Perfect for all skin types. Not tested on animals. Made in USA.

My Experience with Freeman Facial Polishing Mask – Charcoal and Black Sugar:
This product, for me, turned out to be a miracle in a small foil packet. With the interesting title and ingredients, I picked up this packet right away, not knowing what to expect. Once applied, it left my skin soft and smooth, to the point where I could not stop touching it. The mask had the color of coal and the consistency of sticky coarse sugar. It comes in a small foil packet which is good for one-time use, only. They do have the bottle version of this which I am now determined on buying, after trying it out. I like how the Freeman brand has different packets of their masks for customers to try out before they buy the full version of the product. Great idea! Also, the scent of this mask is great and very refreshing.
The sugars in the scrub help exfoliate the dead skin cells away, which is what made my skin feel so smooth. The purifying activated charcoal removes impurities from the skin which we gather from day to day basis from dirt and pollution. It detoxifies skin, making it feel so fresh and clean. The directions on this product suggest using it twice a week, but I personally think that once a week should be enough because it can be harsh on the skin if exfoliated too much. I personally have sensitive to normal skin (depending on the weather) and this mask will definitely irritate my skin, if used too much. The reason behind this is because the sugar beads in here are very coarse and hard which may damage skin if not used gently. So, you must be careful about that. I must mention that when I was applying this to my face, I did feel a slight bit of stinging but I still continued and after, there was nothing wrong with my skin. Overall, this is a wonderful product and I cannot wait to purchase the bigger bottle version of this.

OTHER USER REVIEWS
The face mask packaging is great with a lot of quantity provided to us at a reasonable price. It is the best face mask I have used till date. Firstly, the black sugar and charcoal cleans up my skin excellently and it is a harsh scrub which removes all the grim possible from the skin. It is a great alternative to be used when you can’t take a steam, it is a self heating mask. It opens the pores after heating and then exfoliates; what a perfect combo! It makes my skin fairer instantly, removes all the tan in just one use and makes the skin feel the softest. It truly polishes the skin, the way the polish turns a old wooden table to new, this exactly does the same to the skin, revives the skin with a transformation. However, yes it does dry up my skin but works great for oil on my skin as my skin is totally matte after using this. Recommended for oily skin, dry skin call it a skip – Saloni Shah
