Hello Wonderful People,
How are you all?
Today, I am going to review yet another product from the brand Kerastase. After using the Elixir Ultime Serum and the Oleo Hair Masque, I was super excited to try more of them, and I purchased the shampoo and masque from the range Elixir Ultime and a shampoo from Volumantic range, I am writing this review on behalf of my mom, she used this shampoo for almost two months and here are the details about this product.
Versatile nourishing oil that provides ultimate shine, softness and nourishment for all hair types.
Maize Oil: Delivers emollient and anti-oxidant active ingredients for ultimate shine.
Pracaxi Oil: Brings shine, nourishment and deep conditioning to the hair.
Camellia Oil: Helps smooth the hair fiber, resulting in incredible shine.
Argan Oil: Helps restore strength to the hair and protects it from external aggressors.
My Experience with Kerastase Elixir K Ultime Sublime Cleansing Oil Shampoo:
Let’s start with the hair type, my mom’s hair is slightly on the thicker side, wavy, rebonded, and coloured. Rebonded and coloured hair needs special care, so I gave this bottle to my mom instead of using myself.
This shampoo comes in an orange, sturdy, golden coloured bottle, loved the packaging, the luxuriousness of the gold cap and bottle. It smells same as Kerastase serum, I am in love with the fragrance. The texture of this shampoo is semi-liquid, transparent, almost like oil except that sticky part. It contains four essential oils which work deep into the hair.
This shampoo helps in strengthening weak rebonded hair and gives smoothness and shine to hair after wash. It also controls hair fall. After shampooing, the hair feels fully clean, moisturized and it keeps dryness at bay. My mom followed this up with the masque and serum from the same range. Overall, this is a must-have product especially for damaged and rebonded hair. This one is silicone and paraben free. The only con is that it does not give tangle-free hair. Other than this, hair tends to get oily after two days, so this product is not for the people with oily scalp as it contains oil in it.
Pros of Kerastase Elixir K Ultime Sublime Cleansing Oil Shampoo:
- Silicone and paraben-free.
- Gently cleanses, while nourishing and purifying hair.
- Strengthens hair, leaving it soft and shiny.
- Gives nourishment to hair.
- Give shine and smoothness to hair.
- Controls hair fall.
Cons of Kerastase Elixir K Ultime Sublime Cleansing Oil Shampoo:
- Not for oily scalp.
