Faces Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick – Lust Review

How are you guys? Today, I am going to review my new favourite lipstick which is from the brand – Faces. Also, I am going to share my recent accessories shopping with you all. I will do the review first. This lipstick is called Faces Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick in the shade Lust. My mother wanted to buy some Lotus stuff and I accompanied her. At the store, while she was choosing her shades, the SAs saw that I was standing free and they hopped on me one by one 😛 They tried to lure me with maximum stuff they could and it was then that I bought this lipstick.

Rs. 599 for for 2.5 gm/0.09 oz.
Shelf Life:
2.5 years.
My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick – Lust:
I fell in love with this shade as soon as the SA swiped it on my hand. It is a rose pink kind of color or you can say the color I was hunting for from a very long time. It gives me peachy pink or a rosy pink color on my lips and makes me look more vibrant and fresh (and fairer too :P)
The packaging is like a Royal Parker pen, in matte black shade with the name imprinted in silver.
Texture is smooth and easy to glide on the lips, but not buttery kind since it is a matte lipstick. The texture is apt for me. While I was applying the lipstick for the first time, it felt like the color is not showing up fully, so I swiped for 5-6 times. Later, I realized that this lipstick shows up fully and gets darker after 10 minutes of application. So, from next time onwards, I swiped just twice. 😉
Like most of the matte lipsticks, it dries a bit after an hour or so. The extent of drying is just apt for it to remain matte (not like Diana of London 2000 kisses range which was ultra drying). So, it is definitely not an issue.
Staying power is just as the name says – long. It stayed on my lips for 8 hours and survived two meals and four glasses of water (yes, I was counting 😉 )
It does not have any fragrance at all.
So in short, matte lovers like Rati di and Neha di – it is time to rejoice.
This range has got many more wonderful shades including hot pink and so many browns.
Pros of Faces Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick – Lust:
- Awesome shade.
- Smoothly glides on the lips.
- Lovely packaging.
- Ultra long stay.
- I did not find it to be too drying. I mean not more than the usual matte lipsticks.
- No fragrance at all (I do have a sensitive nose).
- So many shades to offer.
Cons of Faces Ultime Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick – Lust:
- This particular shade might wash out darker skinned beauties.
- No ingredients mentioned.

I found my perfect rose pink lipstick with perfect formulation. I will definitely buy this shade again and again. Also, I will try other shades from this range. Matte lovers just go and grab these right now. Now, coming to my accessories shopping, I have picked up so many neck pieces, earrings, bangles and rings. My darling brother is getting married by April end, so I got to have matching accessories with all the Indo-Western and Western outfits. 😉 So, I thought of sharing them with you all. I have picked these accessories from Forever 21, Sony Sapphire in Rajauri Delhi and NYciti.

Hey That’s such a cute colour! And it’s looking very nice on your lips! And if this survived meals then it truly has a great staying power 🙂 But again the same question i had asked few days back.. is it safe to use lippies that last long? My concern is about the contents of long lasting vs not so long lasting lippies!

thanks preethi… 🙂 no it does not bother me.. but it is personal preference i think… you can apply a clear balm or a lip gloss on top of it to overcome that issue. i also do that sometimes if i wish to… 🙂
