I have reviewed the palette V2 from the range which has all the bright shades. In this post I will review V6 which is a neutral palette. There are a few other neutral palettes in this range too. However this one has a better variety of colors and the nudes are my kind of shades. Read the detailed review to know more about it.

My Experience with Kryolan Eye Shadow Variety 18 Colours V6:

Packaging: The palette comes in a classic blue Kryolan paper cover. The palette is a sleek, silver one that shuts tightly and fits easily in any bag. It has a large full-sized mirror and a synthetic applicator brush. Also, the palette is separated from the mirror with a plastic palette kind of thing which unlike the plastic sheet coverings does not go missing or slip away. The brush is useful to pack color on the lid as it is quite dense. Overall, the packaging is simple and travel-friendly.

Finish and Texture:The palette has 12 matte and 6 shimmery eye shadows. The pigments are super-fine and have a buttery smoothness. There is no chalkiness even in the shimmery shades. They have a creamy-powder kind of feel. They never feel chalky and cakey on the eyes. When you pick the color with a brush, you may see a little kick up, but that is nothing unusual.

Blendability and Pigmentation: These shadows are super pigmented and the color shows up as you see in the pan. The pigmentation is insane. They blend effortlessly with a few strokes without losing the color intensity. The shadows blend into each other seamlessly without looking muddy and do not leave harsh lines. The product is definitely user friendly and great for beginners. In most of the hand swatches the shades are, as you can see, gives full coverage. The lighter shades are a little sheer at times. However, a second layer covers it up completely. The shimmery shades are super pigmented too and they are also blended easily which helps to do the eye makeup neatly.

Shades: The shimmery shades are perfect to add some glam quotient to your everyday neutral look. The other colors have a variety of brown, pink, cream and nude that works great on every skin tone. I personally feel that nude palettes are incomplete without a black and a brown. This one has the colors and thus the palette is complete for me. There are a few deeper, muted colors which allows to create depth and definition. I have swatched the colors row-wise from left to right and will describe the shades accordingly.

Top Row:
1. A pale milky white shade that you can use to highlight the brow bone.
2. Pale golden shimmer.
3. Deeper golden shimmer.
4. A very pale pinkish champagne color.
5. A pale rosy-gold color.
6. A deeper pink with hint of gold.

Middle Row:
1. Pale milky pink color.
2. Little deeper neutral pink.
3. Muted coral shade that can be used on crease.
4. Muted reddish brown.
5. A pale yellowish brown that is very close to my skin tone.
6. Neutral deep brown.

Bottom Row:
1. Purplish pink shade.
2. Reddish purple.
3. Deeper purple (Shade 1,2,3 can be used to create a muted purplish eye look).
4. Dusty violet.
5. Greyish black.
6. Deep black.

The shimmers in the first row make the boring nude looks special. These can be also used to highlight your cheek. The middle row is perfect for everyday nude looks and the bottom row is great for deeper neutral looks. I love each and every color in this palette.

Staying Power: On my super oily lid, without any primer the colors stayed intact for 5-6 hours. I was not expecting such performance in this summer. It did not look muddy. There was no creasing either. The intensity did not look dull at all. I created a beautiful look with this palette on my anniversary day (could not click a picture due to low light) and the lid was packed with one of the shimmery shade. There was no fallout or creasing after 5 hours, although I sweated a lot.

Overall, I love everything about the palette. It is expensive and it performs like any high end palette. I love using it and will definitely use it pretty often.
