L’oreal has come up with its line of gel eye liners called : L’oreal 24 Hour Superliner Gel Eyeliner. (Rs 750)
It claims a 24 hour stay and it’s safe for people with sensitive eyes and also for contact lens wearers.
This eyeliner reminded me so much of Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner .
The eyeliner comes in a glass pot and has a fine eyeliner brush that comes along in a pack.
They have come up with one shade as of now 01 Black but they would be launching a 02 brown shade soon. 🙂

It was quite creamy but I dont see a reason why you should buy this until the maybelline one really irritates your eyes. It went on super creamy and dried within seconds. Didnt come off without an oil based cleanser. how was your sunday? 🙂

Once you get used to gel liners, you dont like to use liquid liners. They are far less messy and easier to use. 🙂

Dips some gel liners can be used on water line and the ones that can be used mention that on the packaging MAC Fluidline and Bobbi Brown gel liners are safe for waterline. 🙂

I would rather buy the maybelline one..or MAC…like why pay so much and be neither here nor there kinds…what’s the Loreal pricing logic anyway ?:) ?:) ?:) I like Loreal, and their products are actually quite good – the lipsticks at least – but somehow I cannot digest the fact that something that is an inexpensive drugstore brand abroad decides to price itself so high here!
I know they are in a weird price category but there is a category of women who dont like to buy Lakme and maybelline and for them loreal has this class. I think that’s the target women.

The brush is quite fine and thin, You’d be able to use it to create both thick and thin lines.

I don’t understand the pricing. Aren’t Loreal and Maybelline products made by the same company – then why such a huge price difference for similar products? Also, Maybelline New york – but the gel liner is made in china. Same with L’oreal Paris – but this liner is made in china. What kind of marketing strategy is this?

I bought the new L’oreal 24 Hour Superliner Gel Eyeliner and loved the way it looks….
It gives me a burning feeling and turns my eye a lil red 🙁 Weep weep… ANy one with bad reviews?
I used their Mineral Kohl previously and loved it…. Since they stopped the make of it, I had to switch to their new prodcut….
I got the brown one and it gives a soft look to my eyes. The brush is absolutely soft and the liner can be applied easily. The brush is way better that the one that come with the gel liner for Maybelline. My Maybelline gel liner dried up quickly in the pot. I have added drops of olive oil to improve the application but its still difficult to use. Moral: Loreal gel liner is definitely better, absolutely love it!
