MAC Pigment Silver Review

Product Purchased by IMBB

Hi ladies,

Silver is a very tricky shade in makeup, especially when it comes to the eyeshadows. If overdone, you may end up looking like a disco ball. However, it is important as well, maybe not as important as golden for sure, yet an asset to vanity. I bought three of pigments – MAC Pigment Gold, MAC Pigment Silver, and MAC Pigment Fushia. I have already reviewed two of them and I’ll be getting into the review of Silver pigment today.

My Experience with MAC Pigment Silver:

MAC Pigment Silver Review All Boxes

The pigment comes in a small plastic jar. You may get disappointed on the size but trust me it will last your lifetime. The screw cap is of rubbery material which is prone to catching dust pretty fast. I will not suggest traveling with pigment bottle as it may break easily and then it will be an unimaginable mess!

The color is a super creamy silver. It swatched like a dream on my arm, however, tricky to work on the eyes. It had an immense fallout, so I would suggest using a concealer underneath or any kind of glitter glue is a must. You can see my hand swatch, how much fallout it shows for just one swipe.

It stays long for 8-9 hours. Once applied with a brush, it is good to apply little pressure using fingertips so that the pigment sticks better and also gives more intensity by concentrating the pigment. I feel brushed fall short when it comes to concentrating the pigment, so I suggest using fingertips for this one. Do cover your cheeks or apply rest of the makeup in the last, reason is obvious. In the end, when I brushed out the fallout on my cheeks, I could still see silver there, so I had to wipe it out properly using wet wipes.
