My Experience with Naturals By Watsons Olive Shampoo:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a huge translucent plastic bottle. The bottle is typical olive green in color. The translucent body helps to keep a watch on the amount of the product left inside. The shampoo bottle comes with a pump dispenser that gives an ease of use. On the other hand, the pump does not come with any lock so, it becomes difficult to carry this bottle while travelling. Also, the bottle is too bulky to carry around. The shampoo bottle bears a cute label on the top and it has cute prints and product qualities written on it. There is also a sticker on the back side of the bottle that bears the product description, ingredients list and other necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is cute and sturdy but, it is definitely not a travel-friendly one.

The shampoo is a colorless liquid. It has a very refreshing fragrance with a hint of citrus. The smell is not too strong or bothering. Therefore, it will not bother people with sensitive noses. The smell is really long lasting and fades away once my hair gets completely dried. The consistency of the shampoo is slightly on a runnier side. It has a slight gel-like consistency. The shampoo does not lather well when applied directly on wet hair. So, I prefer rubbing it between the palms to create some lather and work onto my hair. But, still, I am not much impressed with the lathering properties. It does not create a rich lather. Therefore, I need a lot of product to work on my greasy and dirty hair. I roughly need 2-3 pumps to cleanse my mid length hair nicely.

Though, the shampoo perfectly removes all the dirt and grime from my hair and scalp nicely, but, the less foaming formula does not give a squeaky clean feel to my hair. It does not dry out my hair. It contains Aloe Vera extract to boost the hydration and prevent hair from drying. The shampoo keeps the hair moisturised and nourished. The shampoo perfectly cleanses my heavily oiled hair also and gives a squeaky clean feeling.

The shampoo makes my hair smooth and tangles free. But, I always prefer using the hair mask from the same range to keep my hair softer, smoother and more manageable because my hair looks super frizzy after shampooing without the use of conditioner or hair mask. Overall, this is a nice product except for the fact that it does not lather well.
