Patanjali Saundarya Body Lotion Review

Today I am reviewing Patanjali Saundarya Body Lotion. Let’s get into the review.

Price: INR 100 for 100ml

My Experience with Patanjali Saundarya Body Lotion:

Patanjali Saundarya Body Lotion comes in a white 100ml tube with a golden flip cap. It looks simple and is totally travel-friendly. I always like such tube packaging! Also, the dispenser provides a good amount of the product. It is an affordable product and is quite easily available, too.

It has a medium creamy consistency. It glides smoothly on the skin and gets absorbed nicely within a few minutes. It feels lightweight and non-greasy on the skin. I like its soft, smooth and non-oily consistency. The brand claims that this lotion is meant for dry to normal skin, but it suits all skin types well. It makes the skin instantly soft, smooth and fresh; it never feels heavy on the skin. It provides a good amount of hydration to my normal-dry body skin. It has also healed dry areas.

During this spring season, I always need a good moisturiser after the bath and this one works so well to keep my skin moisturised throughout the day. It locks in the hydration and leaves my skin feeling soft. This lotion adds a healthy glow to my skin and makes it look fresh and glowing. I have been using this lotion for a couple of weeks now and it has always given me the desired results.

Even though it can’t totally heal extremely dry skin during winters, it works well and makes such skin types appear well nourished. It contains many good ingredients like, aloe vera, coconut oil, nut oil, honey, saffron, Shea butter etc. I am really impressed by its ingredients list. It functions well as a nice, lightweight, refreshing and hydrating lotion. It is just perfect for summers!

It does not make my skin sweat. It repairs my skin and restores the desired amount of moisture into the skin. The softness stays decently for around 5 hours on the skin and my skin looks fresh for long. Dry skin and even other skin types might require reapplication during winters, though. During this time of the year, my skin never feels dry and, in fact, looks healthier and softer because of this lotion. I don’t know why they use the “fairness” tag. I just don’t believe in it.

Overall, it is a nice body lotion for everyday use. It even has a beautiful fragrance of herbs. I really like this herbal fragrance. It is a mild and pleasant fragrance that suits everyone. Since I have not used other Patanjali products, except the aloe vera gel, I cannot really compare this lotion to others. But I am really happy with the product.
