Ingredients:
Water, Stearic Acid, Beeswax (Apis Mellifera), Carnauba (Copernicia Cerifera) Wax, Triethanolamine, PVP, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, C18 36 Acid Triglyceride, Synthetic Beeswax, Propylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Xanthan Gum.
My Experience with Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara:
Mascara is one cosmetic product which I would never end to search and try as it is the only makeup accessory that always baffles me. I have used mascaras from some well known to some less known and used brands, but I never felt that “yes, this is the one.” :idk:
This maybe because I never knew how much difference mascara can make to our eyes and so to the overall look, but now as I read so many reviews on some very well known and expensive brands of mascaras that does add a remarkable difference to our looks, I myself try to grab whatever good mascara I can and check it for myself. This is the reason I ventured getting the Rimmel mascara in my UK list of cosmetics. :giggle:
I had tried it 5-6 times and had judged that this super black mascara enhances the length and volume of the lashes without clumping. It glides on smoothly, makes my lashes longer and more volumised, lasts all day and gets every lash one by one. :lashes:
Use:
For a normal day look, I prefer using a single coat of this mascara without using the eyelash curler and it does a beautiful job in giving a nice natural look to my lashes by adding suitable length and volume. For a more dramatic look, just use an eyelash curler and 2 coats of this mascara and you are going to definitely love the effect it produces, but with little clumps (I need to practice more 😛 ).
I feel two coats give quite a dramatic effect and so there is no need of any further application to enhance the look. It doesn’t smudge at all and stays on easily till you wash it off.
Packaging:
It comes in a black nice plastic packaging. The wand/applicator is made of a spiral of densely packed bristles that gets wider to thinner as we move to the top of the wand. The design is effective to easily pick the lashes individually and apply mascara to the very inner lashes even.

Texture:
It is thick in texture and so one coat is enough to give a nice effect and it dries up quickly on applying and thus not easy to smudge even.

• Well, the biggest and the major drawback is the availability as Rimmel products are nowhere available in India, have to be bought online and that means bearing extra shipping charges.
• You have to scrape excess off before you apply from the tip of the applicator.

Recommend/Repurchase:
A big Yes. I love this one. If I do not have to bear heavy shipping charges, then yes, but otherwise, I will have to again start searching for the right affordable mascara.
In the end, I just want to highlight one tip of applying mascara accurately that I have followed myself and got much better results. Apply your mascara in a swift, zig-zag motion from lash root to tip as opposed to one sweeping motion. This is a better way of applying mascara and achieving better results. :specs:
Overall, I really like the fact that this mascara dresses up the eyelashes extremely well. To be clear, it makes the lashes glossy, separate and darker as it claims, which means better results from the ones I had used before. So, go ahead and try this mascara if you can. :waytogo:
