Ever had really dry skin that your foundation looks cakey? Sudden dry patches? Zombie looking skin because of your “little to barely” any sleep schedule? I am sure everyone has. I haven’t been able to catch a good sleep ever since I started high school and during major exam weeks, it gets worse as I barely even sleep at all, in my final year, right now, I’m practically dying.  But I’ve managed to keep my skin looking healthy. I constantly get asked, “how do you do it?’ by friends and family. One of my secrets is a good moisturiser and it’s the moisturiser I’m going to be reviewing today.

My Take on Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser:

We will start off with the texture of this product. It has a really smooth texture and it’s easy to blend into the skin. It may seem a little oily during application, but it disappears after application and leaves you with a glowy finish which makes your skin look really healthy. Your skin doesn’t feel sticky nor uncomfortable afterwards and exactly like it says, it feels so light on the skin that you will barely even notice it’s there.

Also, the product claims to continue to work for 12 hours.  I would say that it’s totally true. After coming back from school, my skin would still be soft and hydrated . I wouldn’t have to worry about my skin losing moisture through out the day as it locks the moisture in.

I’m boosting a lot about this product, I would assume you guys must be wondering ‘How good can this product be?’ or ‘How well does it hydrate the skin?’ and trust me when I say that this product is amazing when it comes to hydrating and moisturising your skin.

I had recently been getting dry patches on my skin, which causes my skin to be cakey. To sum it up, my skin was super thirsty and it looked liked poop. I like to try out different moisturisers, but whenever my skin lacks moisture, I would go back to this product and I have been doing so for years.

Whenever I use this product, it gets rid of my dry patches in 3-4 days and feeds my skin the moisture it needs. It leaves my skin soft, supple and full of moisture. I also use this before bed and whenever I do so, my skin is as soft as a baby’s butt the next morning.

If you are worried that this product may cause your foundation to be clumpy, don’t worry. It doesn’t clump your foundation at all. But here’s a tip, use this product, a highlighter and some concealer on your face with some pressed powder to set your concealer and you can easily create a dewy look. But of course, don’t forget to put some sunscreen too!

Packaging wise, I’d say it’s pretty big and would definitely not be ideal for travelling, but you can always pick up the travel kit that comes with this product, a cleanser and also a toner. The cap however is very secure so if you do happen to throw this into your bag when you’re travelling, don’t worry about the mess after because it’s not going to happen at all.

I would absolutely repurchase this in a millisecond and I always do whenever I need something that works and wouldn’t ever fail me. It’s been doing an amazing job for me and is my top moisturiser. Dare I say this but it’s a skin care holy grail item for me without a doubt.
