Today, I am here to share my views on Tarte Brighter Days Highlighting Moisturizer. It’s an oil free moisturiser which keeps my skin hydrated and adds a radiant glow. Do read on to know more about this product.

This lightweight facial lotion formulated with 70% water and light reflecting mineral pigments quenches dull, dehydrated skin while delivering a sheer veil of illumination and radiance. The sweat resistant formula is perfect for before or after the gym, or even to fake an after glow without the sweat. It can be worn alone or under makeup for a subtle sheen as the hypoallergenic moisturiser works to soften, smooth and deliver a long lasting surge of moisture without clogging pores. Powered by water; delivers and retains the skin natural moisture. Has mineral pigments, which soothes, softens and brightens skin. Formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sufates, gluten.

My Experience with Tarte Brighter Days Highlighting Moisturizer:
The moisturiser comes packaged in a lilac-coloured, good quality plastic tube with a golden coloured screw open cap. The tube comes packaged in a multi coloured cardboard box. Packaging is very dainty, feminine and travel friendly.
I normally prefer using moisturiser which is tinted or has SPF. For a change, I opted for Tarte Brighter Days Highlighting Moisturizer. This moisturiser has some plus points that I was convinced to buy and experience. So, let’s begin with my views. It’s a soft, velvet textured, white coloured, gel cream, which is oil free and non sticky. The formula is very lightweight and gets instantly absorbed. Keeps my skin hydrated which tends to dry easily. It does not dry, irritate or cause break outs on my sensitive skin.
I prefer using this moisturiser in the evenings after cleansing my skin. I usually wear it under my primer, bb cream or foundation. It instantly brightens my facial skin and adds a mild radiant glow. Skin feels softer, moisturised and “ready to wear” makeup. I have received compliments when I have applied this highlighting moisturiser under my makeup, be it sheer or built up.
It definitely does something to make my skin look and feel good. All the more, it is formulated with water and mineral pigments which helps retain skin natural moisture, soothes, softens and brightens the skin. I do not use this moisturiser very regularly but use it sometimes for my evening outings and dinner invites. It does not dry or dehydrate my skin, neither it is extremely hydrating, adds a mild glow to my facial skin. I feel this moisturiser may work for all skin types, except for the extremely dry and extremely oily skin.

Would I Repurchase Tarte Brighter Days Highlighting Moisturizer?
Yes, I do recommend this product for normal, combination and sensitive skin types. At this point, I am not able to comment on recommending this moisturiser for the very oily, extremely dry skin types. I may or may not repurchase, the only reason – I may opt to experiment with something new and different.
