I have been trying and reviewing makeup wipes by several Korean brands. Some I enjoyed using, some not so much. The one that I am going to review today is the one I like the most. Like I mentioned in all my reviews of makeup removal products, I love to wear makeup but removing makeup is not as fun. The makeup removing process is messy as it takes a while to get all the gunk off and above of all, most makeup removers leave some residue behind, especially waterproof eye makeup is hard to remove even with high-end makeup removers. But, makeup removing wipes do make the process a little easier and considerably mess-free, even if they don’t leave your face squeaky clean.

My Experience with Tony Moly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue:
I use makeup wipes every day to remove my makeup and clean my face. I have tried the usual drugstore brand wipes such as the ones by Equate, Garnier and Aveeno and have also tried the ones by the Korean brands such as Innisfree and Etude House and they all have their pros and cons. I use at least two wipes a day and hence it is a bit expensive to use higher end wipes on every day basis. I personally love MAC makeup removing wipes, but obviously they are not favorable from the price point of view so I don’t mind using cheaper alternative which might not perform just as well, but still good enough for my everyday needs. These wipes by Tony Moly are comparable to the ones by Mac and are half the price.
These wipes by Tony Moly are soaking wet in the product and all they are not dripping wet; one wipe is sufficient to clean the face and neck and even it removes some product from lids and water line. After I wipe my face clean with these wipes as best as I can, I soak and edge in miceller water and wipe my eye makeup clean.
Wipes come in a packet with a flap to cover the opening that dispense the wipes. These wipes have a very pleasant fragrance. It removes the base makeup really well and I remove my eye makeup with miceller water or a cleansing balm. Sometimes I even apply some face wash on the wipe and use it like a wash cloth – I really try to use a single wipe as best as I can and obtain maximum use out of it. It also contains Aloe Vera Extract – Soothes and provides intense moisture.Rose Water, Calendula Extract, Cherry Blossom Extract – Soothes and calms skin. Hibiscus Extract – Natural emollient that softens skin and reducing wrinkles, Avocado Oil – Moisturizes and protects skin.
Pros of Tony Moly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue:
- Affordable makeup removing wipes and are comparable to the ones by MAC.
- Easily removes base makeup.
- Each wipe is thoroughly soaked in product and is sufficient for face, neck and eye makeup.
- Does not cause acne or breakout.
- Packaging is hygienic, dispenses product easily and is travel-friendly.
- Has a pleasant fragrance.
- Does not dry out the skin.
- Contains some beneficial ingredients as well.
Cons of Tony Moly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue:
- Does not remove eye makeup easily and some other product has to be used for that purpose – I prefer to use a cleansing balm.

Do I Recommend Tony Moly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue?
I love this product, it is comparable to more expensive options and recommend it to all those who are looking for affordable cleansing wipes and would like to simplify their makeup removing process. It can replace a cleansing balm or miceller water for those who don’t wear heavy eye makeup.
