My Experience with Veet Face Wax Strips Normal Skin:
The wax strips come in a small cardboard box. The entire product related information is printed on the box. The box contains twelve wax strips, two wipes and an instruction leaflet. Two strips are arranged in a way that the wax side of both is adhered together and they can be peeled off easily. These strips come in a small rectangular shape which makes it easy to work on the face. Overall, the packaging is fine.
These strips come in two variant; one for normal skin and one for sensitive skin. Though I have sensitive skin, I had to pick up the variant for Normal skin since I was in a rush and I could not find the one for my skin type. This was probably my biggest mistake. Keep reading to know why?
Let’s begin with the usage method. To use these strips, simply rub these in between your palms so that the wax in the strips become warm with the warmth of your hands. This facilitates better adherence of the wax strips to the skin and hair as well. Make sure the area to be waxed is properly cleansed and dried up, so that the strip works effectively. Apply the wax strip and rub in the direction of hair growth and pull it backwards in the opposite direction of hair growth. Now, cleanse the skin with the wipe to remove any unwanted wax residues.
These strips are capable of removing fine hair upto some extent, but there is only one condition that there should not be even a tiny bit of greasiness on the skin otherwise, the strip will not work properly. I worked nicely on upper lip area, but it is not much effective in removing coarse hair. It does not remove coarse hair in one go. So, I have to apply the strips repeatedly on the same area to get rid of every hair, but doing so damages my skin. Even if I apply the strip second time on my skin, my skin becomes so sensitive that its epidermal layer gets peeled off while pulling the strip and this causes small bruises on the skin. This mostly happened on my chin area. So, this is why I didn’t find it safe to be used on delicate face area if you have coarse hair. The perfect finish wipe easily wipes off any wax residues and leaves the skin soft and smooth. But, it is kind of oily and leaves a greasy sheath behind. Since, I have got mixed results with this product, I will not repurchase this.

- Does not work on coarse hair.
- Peels off the superficial layer of the skin if used more than once on the same area.
- Damages the skin and causes bruises if applied multiple times on same area.
- Does not remove hair even if a tiny bit of greasiness is present.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Veet Face Wax Strips Normal Skin?
No, I personally feel that hot wax is a better option to consider or you may use an epilator as well.
