I recently did a haul for skin care products and picked up some new wet wipes from Vega. Vega has launched four new wipes and today, I am going to review the variant Green Tea and White Lily. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Vega Wet Wipes Green Tea and White Lily:
Vega Green Tea and White Lily Wet Wipes come in a nice small light green colored plastic pouch with some nice print over it that indicates the variant. On the front, there is a usual plastic seal that can be opened and resealed safely. It’s easy to pull out the wipe. The seal sticks well and quite strong in nature so it will stay long. This is totally a travel-friendly packaging and one pack contains 10 wipes as well. But, these are yet not available in bigger size.
As these wipes contain Green Tea and White Lily, so it has a beautiful refreshing smell of green tea and lily. It has a nice pleasant floral fragrance. Overall, these wipes carry nice fresh pleasant fragrance that is good to all. It instantly provides nice refreshment to skin and nose as well. I love this smell a lot.
Wipes are made of viscose fiber material and feel quite soft and gentle on the skin. Size of the wipe is also quite good to cover my entire face in a single time. This material is neither too thick nor too thin so it feels good on skin and doesn’t feel rough at all. These wipes are well saturated that never dry up quickly. So, I can take my time to clean my entire face.
Now, coming to its cleansing power, yes it works decently on this. It effectively cleans dirt and impurities from the skin and provides great relief to it. It can take off the excess oil without making the skin dry. Although it provides a nice hydration to skin that makes it soft and smooth. It is good as a normal facial cleansing wipe and provides a good matte effect to the skin. It leaves a non-sticky, smooth texture as well.
But, it is not super effective to remove makeup from the face. Obviously, we all use minimal makeup on face and we have to clean that as well. So, for that, it works very slowly and takes time to clear them off. It can nicely wipe off my base makeup like foundation, blush or highlighter. It can clean powdery makeup like compact and eye shadows. It can clean glittery shadows as well. Even, it is effective on normal creamy or matte lipsticks which are not waterproof but it takes time and effort for waterproof makeup. Also, it takes time to clean water resistant makeup like eyeliner and kajal. I need to rub multiple times to remove my waterproof makeup. For waterproof mascaras, it can’t take them off, but I don’t think any wipes can remove waterproof mascara. They always need oil based remover, so I don’t mind it but I am not happy with its result for normal makeup like kajal and liner. It takes time for them too. It also can’t remove liquid matte lipstick as they are waterproof too. So for that makeup, I need to rub a lot but this wipe is not that super gentle. Excessive rubbing might make skin red, so I always avoid that. It is effective as a normal face cleansing wipe.
After cleaning my face, it never makes the skin stretchy or dry. It provides a nice healthy refreshing touch to it. If you are traveling or need a wipe to clear sweat, then this is a good option to go with. These are good for all skin types. It suits to my sensitive skin well and never broke me out.
Overall, it is an average wipe that works on normal base makeup and slightly on non-waterproof eye makeup. But, it takes time for water resistant makeup and can’t remove waterproof makeup. Yet, it is a pretty refreshing facial wipe that I love to use during a hot day and it instantly provides a great relief to my skin.

• Comes in only single size
• Can’t remove waterproof mascaras and liquid lipsticks
• Takes time and effort for kajal and liner
• Not best as makeup removal wipe

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Vega Wet Wipes Green Tea and White Lily?
If you want a normal facial cleansing wipe that provides good refreshment and matte finish, then it is good but if you want to clean makeup, then it is not so effective. I always prefer to use an oil based remover to clean my makeup with a cotton pad and then wipe off that oil with a facial wipe. So, this is my technique to use a wipe. For that, it works nicely, so I can repurchase it but this wipe is not for makeup removal.
