I hope you are all doing good. I went make up shopping on Sunday, but unfortunately, I believe it was not my day. I didn’t find any of the makeup products that I wanted apart from a MAC blush. Anyhow, today, I am going to review a blush, which as far as I can remember was the first blush that I searched for and ordered. It’s a Victoria’s Secret Blush Trio in the colour “At Last.”
This blush is actually a combination of three different colours which can be mixed and matched as per the need to get that perfect colour. One of the colours is a matte pink, other is a shimmery pink and the third is a dark shimmer colour.
Glow natural. A trio of shades come together to add definition and subtle radiance. Wear each alone or blend together to create a natural-looking flush.
$13.95 as far as I remember.
I got this blush because I found the colours cute and also I was getting three different colours that came wrapped in a single package. The case is pretty sturdy and does not open on its own. It has the letters VS engraved on top of it and is black in colour. It looks pretty classy though.
The blush is decently priced and is pretty pigmented. Not too much pigmented but not too less either. Each colour seems to have a different level of pigmentation. I personally find that the shimmery pink colour is the most pigmented followed by the matte pink and in the last is the darkest colour. The funny thing is that when I tried to swatch the three colours on my hand, the maroon one just refused to come off my finger. I literally had to layer it for some colour to show.
The quantity is decent for the price offered. The matte pink is more in quantity than the others and being in the centre, it is also the most used one. I have used it quite a lot of times. It does not have a very strong pigmentation, so you may have to layer it on and on. The colours are pretty and look nice on the skin.
The staying power of it is pretty average. It does not last too long, around 2 to 3 hours. I don’t know if it is just me or others also have this very problem, I feel that no blush lasts more than 3 hours on my skin. I would really like to have some suggestions, if you guys know of long-lasting blushes. I just got a MAC one, let’s see how that holds up.
Anyhow, this blush is still close to my heart and I still use it sometimes. I have gone out and bought some more, but I still like this one. I think VS makeup has some good stuff. I have not tried too many things, but from the packaging and all it does look good. So, if you guys can find this one do check it out.
