Today I will be reviewing a mascara from W7. I had bought some products from W7 months ago, but I had forgotten to write up reviews. I am not exactly a mascara person because of my sensitive eyes, but still it doesn’t hurt to bat those lashes on special occasions. 😀 Well, let’s know more in detail.

My Experience with W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara:
The mascara is actually a dupe for the Benefit They’re Real Mascara, and it looks a pretty similar too. The tube is attractive with a silver body. It catches fingerprints, though. The screw cap holds the mascara wand. The wand is upper; the bristles are fine and thin which makes it catch all the lashes. Also, there are little bristles which can be worked for the inner lashes. The wand works really well.
The formula is nice and has a proper consistency. It did not clump the lashes at all. Two coats will give good volume and length. I have long lashes, so I need good volume with a bit of length. Applying too much product will tend to look clumpy. Not for a bit I felt that it was heavy! I felt that the wand works better in zig zag motion than just applied straight because the bristles will get to reach everywhere.
The performance is spot on! It is water-resistant and stays on for 5 hours or so. I noticed that after that it flaked a bit. It flakes if you rub your eyes (me!). The worst part that I hate about mascaras is getting it off at the end of the day. I hate rubbing and rubbing until I am convinced that every trace of it is off. Along with the mascara, some of the lashes fall out and I freak out and my eyes start to feel dry because of the sensitivity.
But, I did not face any major issues getting it off. I use coconut oil and dissolve it first and rub it for a few times before finally removing all of it. I really liked this one by W7 even though I haven’t tried the Benefit one for comparison. Judging by the performance, I think it’ll be a really good dupe.
Pros of W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara:
• Nice silver colored packaging.
• Wand works really well.
• The little bristles at the end reach the inner lashes.
• Formula is superb.
• Does not feel heavy.
• Good staying power.
• Water-resistant.
• Priced well.
Cons of W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara:
• Flakes a bit after a few hours.
• I’m left with dry itchy eyes after I remove the mascara (my sensitive eyes).
