My Experience with Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm Raspberry:
When it comes to lip balms, there are several options available in the market. I love non-tinted lip balms. But, after a long time, I picked up a tinted one to use it for indoor purposes.
The Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm comes in an off-white and green colored twist up tube with the flavour printed on the top. The cap shuts with a click but, not tightly. However, I never had issues with carrying it around in my bag. The quality of the packaging is great. There is some basic information on the tube. I like the twist up bullet packaging as it’s easier to use. The product is pricier in India compared to its counterpart in Europe.
One of the reasons why I picked this lip balm is because of the color. The bullet looks dark pink but when applied, I hardly notice any color on my lips but, my lips look healthy. The lip balm provides a sheer coverage. The color looks really light on my pigmented lips. The shade is beautiful and is a perfect choice for college goers who don’t like using lipsticks. The lip balm smells very yummy like raspberries, which I love.
The lip balm is very smooth, which glides on the lips without any effort. Even though it has a lightweight formula, it does feel a bit greasy on my lips. However, the greasiness vanishes away within 30 minutes. The lip balm keeps my lips smooth and moisturised. It adds a healthy hue to my pigmented lips. But, the lip balm doesn’t do anything to mask the dry flakes on the lips. It does slather a greasy layer on my lips but doesn’t reduce the dry flakes. The lip balm provides a glossy sheer finish to the lips. It transfers onto cups and glasses, which I hate. The lip balm doesn’t contain SPF, and I wish it came with an SPF for additional benefits. The Lip Balm is free from parabens and is made using natural ingredients. Overall, I love this product.
