15 Best Homemade Face Packs with Honey

15+Best+Homemade+Face+Packs+with+Honey

Who is not aware of the goodness and benefits of honey. It is a highly revered ingredient in the beauty world and why not? Its one of those sole ingredients which does wonder for every skin type – normal, dry, combination, acne. On dry skin, it provides moisturization and hydration; on acne-prone skin – it works wonders with its anti-bacterial and antiseptic effects. Honey is very moisturizing in nature and is full of anti-oxidants. Honey has got amazing healing power, it works on rashes, scars, burns, etc. Honey contains natural hydrogen peroxide which prevents bacteria. Honey can also draw out impurities from blocked pores and prevent acne. Honey does a whole lot of good when consumed internally also, it can be replaced with refined sugar and that will cut down your calorie intake. So, without me pointing out each of its benefits, I can vouch for the fact that you absolutely know how wonderful honey is for skin. Now, let’s see some of the best face packs with honey as the main ingredient and these face packs cover the entire spectrum of skin types. So, check these out:

1. Papaya and Honey Face Pack:

Papaya face pack

This is my favourite face pack. Papaya works for me amazingly as it contains lots of vitamin A and by adding honey, the benefits multiply.

Ingredients Needed:

  • A piece of ripe papaya (without seeds).
  • One tablespoon honey.

Method:  Mash the papaya and add in one tablespoon of honey to it.  Apply it on the face and keep for 20 minutes, rinse it off and you will be able to notice the glow.  You can also add turmeric to this face pack.

2.  Orange and Honey Face Pack:

Fresh orange fruit

Ingredients Needed:

  • 1 tablespoon orange juice.
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey.

Method:  Mix orange juice and honey together and apply it on the face, leave for 20 minutes and wash off with cold water.  With regular use, you would be able to see skin tan clearing up.

3.  Egg White and Honey Face Pack:

  • 1/2 tablespoon honey.
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon.
  • 1 egg white.
